Who: Carol Danvers OT Vertigo
When: Night December 19th
Where: NYC, somewhere
What: Vertigo told the bossman she would bring him Danver's head. Now she's gonna try to collect.
To be utterly honest, Carol Danvers, Ms. Marvel, former member of the US Mutant Coalition and Air Force officer had flipped her wig. After throwing Sarena off a building, she had simply turned her back. That little girl had been the one person in life that she had loved more than anything. It had been an action of devestating proportions when they had broken up, maybe if they hadn't she wouldn't have gone to the Coalition.
If anyone could have possibly talked her out of that decision, Sarena would have been the one to do it. Yet her lover hadn't tried to talk her out of it, just told her that she was losing her fucking mind to go back to the government that had fucked her over. The same government that had ordered her execution.
But not the ones who brought her back. Someone had brought her back. Sitting on the edge of a building, Carol ran her fingers over her lips, reliving a memory. The last memory of kissing Sarena, pity she hadn't kissed her good night before she killed her. So much a pity. After all, her Ren had been a sweet girl. A sweet girl who made too many bad decisions and didn't know what was good for her. Picking the wrong people to hang out with. Somehow, Carol didn't fit into that category despite the fact that she was the one who had truthfully really tried to kill her out of all the people that Ren called 'friend'. It was those very same 'friends' that were burning their way through Carol's brain now.
It would be satisfying to kill them all. It made sense, they had stolen from her the one thing that was important. Now they needed to pay for that. Carol wouldn't have had to kill Sarena if they hadn't poisoned the girl's mind against her. It was all their fault that Sarena was dead, all very much their fault. That damn Cajun bastard who ran off with her. Then there was that kid, damn it, she could barely remember his name but he'd been so important..so very important. He had to go too. Undoubtedly there were others, but those two stood out like stars in the dark. They had to die. Painfully. Each and every one of them, painful, painful deaths. It was only fitting.
Carol had been sitting there in her costume, looking off into the distance for quite some time. More than long enough for her whereabouts to become common enough knowledge.
