WHO: Morag MacDougal and Roger Davies
WHEN: June 25, 2005 very early morning
WHERE: Ministry holding cells
WHAT: Morag needs cheese?
RATING: Who the hell knows.
At least she hadn't journaled him awake out of a dead sleep but Roger had made it home after a pair of harrowing days. Murder. Pureblood. Likely someone that deserved it so he wasn't feeling any emotional commitment there. His squad had been kept on hand to patrol and help secure the crime scene while the aurors took suspects into investigation and collected evidence. There wasn't any trouble with their wide parameter, just a bunch of lookie-lous and the press. That was expected. It had worked out to be a training exercise for his squadron, having the less experienced recruits work on their muggle repelling charms while they patrolled. All in all, not a bad day. 1) dead pureblood - check 2) everyone on his squadron was still alive - check. Yep, a very good day for the MAB.
His grin began to grow as he wrote back and forth with Morag. She needed him. Yeah, let her deny it, but she did. Even if it was to go find her some bloody cheese. Which, he would make it clear to her, that was well above and beyond his duties even if they were dating, which they were not. She would have a lot of making up to do for this. A lot.
Naked.
It's not like he even kept cheese at his flat. This would be a special trip and then to the Ministry. Morag would be proving her love for him for weeks. Apparating here and there, he was very careful about the muggles but in not too long a wait, he was knocking on the glass of the interrogation room to get Morag's attention. All the while dangling a small net of cheese variety coins between his fingers. He should probably be happy she'd not demanded he bring her cigarettes as well. Waiting for her to open the door, his greeting was simple. "So I'm your hero? Where's my reward?"
