Who: Emma and Neville
When: Wednesday, 25 May
Where: Neville's place
What: cat hunting (and perhaps bathing)
Rating: PG-13 because it's Emma and she's talking
Status: threading
Emma had stopped off at home after work, partly to get a chance to see her roommate (they were a bit like ships passing lately, she figured, but it all worked out seemed like) and partly to pack up some things to take along with her to Neville's place. She tossed a tin of treats into a bag, followed up by a few tins of food. She grabbed her carrier, then headed out to make a stop at a shop to pick up some shampoo, a litter box (just in case turned out Neville wasn't allergic to the cat after all and wanted to keep it), and a comb, plus a proper medicated bathing potion, just in case the wee beastie had fleas or other mites.
She shrank it all down and tossed it into her bag as well, and made her way to Neville's. She realized as she walked along that she might look a bit like a ragamuffin. Her jeans had rips and tears in them, since she'd hardly want to wear her good ones on creatures business, and she'd grabbed a comfortable t-shirt and hoodie that she wouldn't mind getting clawed. Her gloves (always wear gloves when bathing a cat, it was just good sense) and goggles were in her bag for later. She had to admit, she had an ulterior motive: she wanted Neville not to be allergic to the cat. After all, if he was allergic to wee furry things, there'd go any chance of inviting her mate over to her own place. He'd likely explode!
Emma stepped up to the door and rapped sharply against it. She turned away while waiting for Neville to answer, leaning over to peer under a nearby bush to see if the cat might be lurking about, waiting for the scent of food.
