“Breakfast?” Draco whined and then grabbed the nearest food item. The strange ribbon-like candy shattered as his first bite. “Now?” was barely intelligible.

“Could I at least get a cup of coffee, please?”

“Ok, you get coffee. I’ll go sort out the presents.” Draco made a beeline for the tree and the stack of gifts.

Finally, armed with coffee Harry settled himself into his favorite chair. The blond tornado unwrapped with lightning speed. He gushed and cooed in all the right places, but looked around surreptitiously as Harry finished.

“What’s wrong?” Harry asked.

“Just making certain, we didn’t miss anything.” Draco lied.

Harry dug into his pyjama bottom pocket. “Like this, perhaps?”

“Bastard!”

"You think?"

"Kissing Snape under the mistletoe? Yeah, I think." Ron was cackling so hard, he was doubled over, so he missed Harry's departure. He only noticed where he'd got to when every sound in the Ministry's Ballroom died down at once. "Oh, bloody hell."

Harry had stopped in front of Snape - newest recipient of the Order of Merlin - and was smiling up at him. He was talking, too. Above them hovered a sprig of mistletoe.

Snape smirked, then tipped Harry in his arms and proceeded to kiss him senseless.

Ron fainted.

"There's something else she knows how to do." Jonathan smirked.

Childermass gave him a look which said he would rather not know.

Jonathan laughed and took a step closer. "She knows when to turn a blind eye." And he leaned in and kissed the crumbs off the smiling lips.
