[info]cblue9
2007-11-25 10:14 pm UTC (link)
Is the community limited to the existent fandoms or the author can do a drable about another fandom (ex. QaF - Queer as Folk)?

You might want to put this to the disclaimer list:

All Queer as Folk caracters are the intellectual property of CowLip (Ron Cowan and Dan Lipman), Temple Street Productions, Jonas Productions,
Channel 4, Russell T. Davies, Showcase and Showtime. No infringement intended. No monies made. Purely for the entertainment of the fans of "Queer As Folk".

Here are the promised disclaimers for the non-Potter fandoms I'm likely to write. I've probably missed a media production source or two with the Whedon stuff, but the main ones for the shows and comics are covered.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer belongs to Joss Whedon, Mutant Enemy, 20th Century Fox, and Dark Horse Comics.

Angel belongs to Joss Whedon, Mutant Enemy, 20th Century Fox, and IDW comics.

Firefly belongs to Joss Whedon, Mutant Enemy, 20th Century Fox, and Dark Horse Comics.

The Vorkosigan saga belongs to Lois McMaster Bujold and Baen.

I have an oops. I finally remembered to look at the cover of the Big Damn Movie (Serenity) and that was Universal. Small surprise Fox didn't do the movie, since they canceled the series. ::slaps forehead:: So that one should read "Firefly belongs to Joss Whedon, Mutant Enemy, 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios, and Dark Horse Comics."

Sorry about that.

And now that Davies isn't doing DW anymore, maybe just "Doctor Who belongs to the BBC"? Because really, sorting out all the writers and producers for the last 47 years is insane, and someone may write a Doctor other than 9-11. So I was kinda nuts putting Davies in there in the first place.

Better still, how about this (since I remembered TW needed updating too, even though S4 hasn't started shooting yet).

Doctor Who belongs to the BBC and 47 years worth of writers and producers.

Torchwood belongs to Russell T. Davies, the BBC, and Starz.

This is going to be so much fuuuun!! I don't know what I'm writing for the beautiful candle prompt yet, but I do know that there is one other fandom I will want to write for besides Harry Potter. And the disclaimer for that fandom iiiiiis:

Hikaru No Go belongs to Hotta Yumi and Obata Takeshi, and is licensed in America by Shonen Jump. No copyright infringement is intended.

And I assume it will need a tag as well. <3

Only one you'll need to add for me, though I'll probably be a rebel and stick my disclaimers on my posts anyway, is:

Bleach is the property of Tite Kubo, Shueisha, Viz Media, etc. No monetary gain is being made from this work of FANfiction.

I figure Glam RPF is covered by the RPF/RPS disclaimer already up there. LOL.
