Remus admired the tree. It was a silver and blue confection of glass ornaments, snowflakes, twinkling lights, tinsel, and never-melt icicles. A rush of cold air made him turn.

Severus came through the front door pink-cheeked and grumbling.

"What happened to the Christmas tree, Lupin? Were we invaded by Ravenclaws while I was out?"

"No, Severus. I just wanted the tree to be more us."

Severus cocked one eyebrow. "How is a Hanukkah shrub us? I'm only half Jewish."

"You don't like any of it?" Remus asked worriedly.

'Well, I can think of quite a number of uses for those icicles." He smirked.

"You had best not wrap anything for me in this!"

Remus grinned slyly. "No. The gift I'm wrapping in that is most assuredly for me."

Severus looked aghast. "You give yourself Christmas gifts?"

"Well, just one. He's about six foot one, dark hair, dark eyes, fabulous cock. You might know him."
