Drabbles and Drawbles for Advent

Hello, all!
I realize I'm cutting it close, but since I worked up until last night, this is the first time I've had to post here. And, yes, obviously we shall be having Adventdrabbles again this year! *g*

For any who are new to the com, we welcome all fandoms, all pairings, genfic, art, whatever you'd like to contribute. You can see the fandoms we already list at our Welcome Post, where, incidentally, you'll also find the rules (such at they are). If you have any new fandoms you'd like added to our list, please comment on that post and I shall do so.

We'll be operating much the same way this year as we have every other year. Write/draw/create for any fandom/original characters/rpf and post. The prompt are just to inspire, if you already know what you want to do, feel free to ignore our suggestions. The whole idea is to HAVE FUN during Advent!

Later today I'll post a request for prompt ideas post. Its responses will be screened. Then, on the first of December (Tomorrow! Eeek!), I'll post the Advent Tree with prompt 1 and we'll be off and running. :)

As usual, we encourage you to Xpost your creations to IJ and DW as well, where our sister communities (run by the fabulous beren_writes) reside.

Welcome to our first prompt of 2013, everyone!

For those who may be new to Adventdrabbles, here's how it works.

Below is the Advent calendar in the form of a Christmas/Holiday tree. The link to each day's prompt is highlighted by the spot on the tree where you see sparkling (to make it more easily visible). Just to be clear, the tree itself isn't the prompt (although you could use it as one if you like), and the prompts can be seen by clicking the numbers corresponding to the day of Advent we're in. And, as it's December first (GMT), this is the first day of Advent.
Just to reiterate, you don't HAVE to use the prompts, they are just here for those who would like some inspiration. Use it or not, the only rule is to have fun!
