I'm Django (aka Scott). I'm django24 on LJ and django on GJ. I'm Scottish, 33 and am currently majoring in long term unemployment. I'm pretty easy going and amiable enough, except for the odd opinionated rant or when someone gets on the wrong side of me. I've been a creative writer and have indulged in shamelessly Mary Sue fanfics over the years (Buffy, Doctor Who, hardboiled detective novels). I've been involved in amatuer theatre in the past. Nowadays I mainly express myself through my journal.

I live for my main passions and interests in life which include movies (horror, cult, historical epics, spaghetti westerns etc), music, TV, books and general pop culture. My musical tastes have been increasingly diversifying and expanding over the last few years. At heart I'm still an old school 70s punk/new waver but my musical tastes also include some ska/reggae, decent pop, rock, rock 'n' roll, glam, goth, old metal, dance/trip hop etc. Artists I've seen in concert include Blondie, The Sex Pistols, The Stranglers, Iggy Pop, Joe Strummer, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Sparks and Manic Street Preachers.

My fandoms include Doctor Who, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, Heroes, Lost and Blake's 7 (and my interest in comics has just recently started to become re-awakened). I don't frequent forums or message boards so much nowadays, although I may still pop up at The Bronze Beta or Outpost Gallifrey from time to time.

Like I said, I'm fairly easy going and open minded, so I usually welcome like wise people who share at least some of the same interests and tastes and aren't looking to start drama. However I'm also a little left wing in my politics (anti-Bush and New Labour for example), an atheist and anti-theist who occasionally rants about the worst excesses of organised religion and I'm a proud Paris Hilton fan, so if any of those things offend you in a way that would make you hostile or disrespectful to my posts, then my journal probably wouldn't be for you. People of different politics or religious beliefs are welcome as long as they don't push their beliefs onto others and aren't offended by our differences (but more often than not it's less tolerant people who defriend me). I also like people who read and comment in their friends journals at least sometimes and aren't just looking for an audience for their own journal. Anyway if none of that puts you off, then the more the merrier :D

Hey all. I'm not all that comfortable giving out my real name online, but you guys can call me Kato. I'm one year away from being legal (lawl), and am seriously into music. I listen to most of anything, although I tend to avoid American rap music. I love to read and have deluded myself into thinking I can write worth crap. My current fandoms so far are...Saiyuki, and Wild Adaptor. I'm currently exploring how I really feel on the whole 'what am I into?' question when it comes to sex, and, to be honest, I'm not sure. I will admit to thinking 'oh, he's hot', and 'oh, she's hot', along with having a best-friend-crush on my female roleplaying partner from school, but I'm still not really sure which way I go.

I'm also not in nearly enough asylums. Anybody know of others relating to my interests that aren't already listed on my user info?

I'm Mina and I'm barely internet-legal, seeing as I'm fourteen. I don't mind people who are older than me or younger than me, as long as they don't discriminate either. I followed the masses over here, and plan on procuring a permanent account, if I don't get bored. I get bored easily, which is why I use a stumbleupon toolbar to keep boredom at bay! And I have issues with not posting to my journal for weeks on end. I'm more of a lurker anyway. I'm rather shy on the nets, which is odd, considering I could just make up a new alias. D:? I'm 20 years old, and shortly I'll be in my third year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I'm an International Studies major with an English and Japanese minor.
