'Ello 'ello comrades, Lynn here bringing you the dreaded much anticipated Ruckus, or Clement Wilson if you prefer. As you may, or may not, have noticed, I retired Laynia Petrovna, Darkstar, (ironically right around the time all those alleged Russian spies were arrested in the US). She has returned to Russia, but not before leaving some farewell notes for Bobby Drake, Sam Guthrie and Piotr Rasputin, thanking them for their friendship and kindness, and encouraging them to visit her. But as we say goodbye to our Russian lady, we say hello to our newest girl addition, Clementine.

Okay! So, I wanted to throw up a plotting post since it hasn't been discovered yet that Layla is just squatting at your school - no parents, no papers, no transcripts, just in your school eating your sugar bombs. I'm thinking she's going to show up for the challenge so if Callisto wants to be all "Wtf? Who is this?" she's more than welcome, if not would any other teacher like to track Layla down do the same?

In the interim, who can Layla make wild predictions about? Does anyone have any secrets she can know? How about some long term stuff she can set into motion? Anyone? Anyone?

Howdy, y'all! Amanda here, showing yet again how very weak I am. Sigh.

For your consideration, I present Ms. Jean Grey, played by the lovely Sophia Bush. You can find her full bio here, but here's a brief rundown. She turned 29 last month, she likes to cook, and she and Scott are meant to be, yo. Since Movieverse!Jean didn't really have much of a personality (to go along with her equally personality-less boyfriend), the only thing I've really kept from that incarnation is that she's on the school's medical staff. She's not a surgeon or anything so if you get that effed up she's hauling your clumsy ass to the hospital, but she's good with mild injuries, common illnesses, checkups, that kind of thing.

That said, Jean is friendly, soft spoken, levelheaded, and more than a little bit of a den mother. As one of the older residents at the school, she's more or less taken on the role of surrogate mom to the younger kids and big sister to the older ones. If you ever need extra help outside of class, she'll be happy to accommodate you; likewise, if you need an extra person to fill out your bowling team, she could probably be talked into that, too. She's often the one who has to scold students (okay, and the occasional coworker) who get too rowdy, so some of the students probably think she's as much of a stick-in-the-mud as SCOOOOOOOTTTTTTT! Scott. Really, though, Jean's just a peacemaker and she likes to maintain that peace. She's not a total buzzkill, however, as she loves to have fun and just be silly now and then, regardless of how much of an authority figure she's supposed to be. She takes her job seriously, but she plays hard, too. So, yeah. Just remember that.

As for plot ideas and potential scenes, obviously anything with Scott would be appreciated. Scenes with Alex, plz? She hates that he and Scott don't get along well (her sister's her best friend! Why can't Scott and Alex act that way?), so now and then she takes it upon herself to play mediator between them. But she also genuinely likes Alex in his own right, too, so she wants to hang out with him sometimes.

She and Betsy, I think, could get along marvelously. They're both former models (except Jean's totally jealous starstruck because Betsy got to do all the awesome couture stuff) and they're both telepaths. And, as I pointed out in her bio, they both have great hair! Yeah. Totally a bonding point.

Would be pretty awesome if she worked with Julian on his telekinesis (and really, where's he gonna find a better teacher?), and if she just so happens to steal one of Emma's prized students from her, well, so be it. :P

I got dragged off of my computer for Father's Day celebrations, and other stuffs this weekend... and the hubs has tomorrow and Tuesday (my birthday!) off, too... so I'm going to be slow. First and foremost, I'd like to introduce to you all the one, the only, a girl that needs no introduction, but is gonna get one anyways - Alison "Oh my God its Dazzler" Blaire. I realize she was played before and I'm totally keen on discussing any former plots, but I've changed her up a little bit. She's a senior, so summer before last? Summer between sophomore and junior year, Alison had a brief fifteen minutes of fame! Alison Blaire did a country wide mall tour where she sang her single and played a little guitar, what not what have you. That's right! You have a celebrity in your midst. Robin Sparkles.

So, what happened you asked? How does a pseudo pop-star wannabe end up at an all mutant boarding school? Answer: you don't get along with your dad. Turns out Alison has a little bit of a wild side and may or may not have thrown a party where the Blaire household, again, may or may not have incurred a wee bit of property damage and/or been a host to underage drinking. Alison denies everything. Anyways, she's been here about a year and a half, something like.

Nursing his wounds from his major loss, Alex has been cooped up all week employing new tactics. He now has the thirst to win. Other teams, cower accordingly.

Hey folks! So, Samma here. This is... a half hiatus? Sort of hiatus? A "I'm kind of pulling back to a more normal level of posting?" I dunno. XD Something. Anyhow. As you might've noticed, I disappear over the weekends. This will keep happening until about mid-August for a variety of reasons. I'll try and get a couple of posts done over the weekend, but I can't promise anything, and I'm usually wiped out. Over the week, I have to pull back just a bit. Mostly, I'll be working either at work or around the house in the morning and afternoon, and will have most evenings free. That's when I'll get to tags. And talking to you guys I miss yooooooou all! (Even if I haven't really been gone? Go with me here. This is my second home.)

So, yeah! I just wanted to give y'all a heads up. If there's a tag I owe at this point, you might have to let me know. Or a thread I owe. I'll get to the training thread tonight with all my kids! If there's a tag I get into and you want a response quickly, also let me know, I'll rework my order of tags! I think that covers everything. I know I'm planning on doing a concert thread with Jay (for people to interact with one another during the show and with Jay during breaks and before/after), and a Ness/Josh thread and a Ness/Pete Wisdom thread soon, and there's going to be an awesome bit of Doreen stalking folks going on! If you want anything with my kids, lemme know!

Hey y'all! I jumped on the multi-character bandwagon and am bringing you David Alleyne, aka Prodigy! He's a junior and sixteen, nearly seventeen, years old. He's come to Xavier's because his power manifested and made it pretty impossible to attend a normal school. Essentially, he can absorb the knowledge and skills of the people he's physically close to, so if you're in the same room as David, your knowledge is up for grabs. The only downside is that this knowledge is gone once he's far enough away from the person he's absorbing from.

He's pretty quiet at first, but opens up pretty quickly to people he likes. And if you're nice, he'll like you. He's a fairly good judge of character and can hold grudges towards people that annoy/frustrate him. The easiest way to get on his bad side? Make fun of his powers. He's a little self-concious since they aren't very well controlled and definitely aren't flashy. And he's not so impressed with this whole "X-Men" thing. He just wants an education.

He's just trying to get used to being in a school for mutants and trying to make friends. Any thoughts or plots, don't hesitate to let me know!

My computer and I are at war. I shall return when I have either emerged the victor or finally come to my senses and chuck it over the balcony and buy a new one. ETA: UNKNOWN.

Okay. Life has been throwing me curve balls for two weeks now. But I'm back. I've been (painfully and brutally) informed I owe tags for the sake of Raven and Beast's teams...and assorted other goodness.

Bam. It's happening. Tonight.

I have my computer back! <3 That was...way too long without reliable internet access. I think I'm addicted. There are probably support groups for that.

BUT this matched my head-canon so perfectly I just needed some place to squee at. And squee I will! SQUEE!

GUYS. I have discovered that I have mutant powers. My powers are kinda like Kevin's, except instead of killing anything organic, I kill technology. True story.

My laptop has suddenly decided that it doesn't want to turn on...at all. Now, this could be explained by the fact that it's almost four years old, but there's a story behind the story! I'm only using this old laptop because about two weeks ago I somehow deleted the entire operating system off of my six-month-old netbook. Yeah, I have no idea how I did that, either. I'm talented that way. I also just recently had to replace my iPod because it wouldn't play music and my GPS tries to send me to Tampa, Kansas instead of Tampa, Florida, in addition to seeing roads where there are none.

Since I don't have a THIRD computer I can use as a backup (to the backup), I have to rely on the computer labs on campus. I live off campus, so this will slow down my posting by a lot- but not stop it entirely, because the internet is crucial to my life right about now. I've only got one character (luckily?), so it shouldn't mess anyone up too bad in terms of plots...I think. Hopefully I can get this resolved soon. D:
