GUYS. I have discovered that I have mutant powers. My powers are kinda like Kevin's, except instead of killing anything organic, I kill technology. True story.

My laptop has suddenly decided that it doesn't want to turn on...at all. Now, this could be explained by the fact that it's almost four years old, but there's a story behind the story! I'm only using this old laptop because about two weeks ago I somehow deleted the entire operating system off of my six-month-old netbook. Yeah, I have no idea how I did that, either. I'm talented that way. I also just recently had to replace my iPod because it wouldn't play music and my GPS tries to send me to Tampa, Kansas instead of Tampa, Florida, in addition to seeing roads where there are none.

Since I don't have a THIRD computer I can use as a backup (to the backup), I have to rely on the computer labs on campus. I live off campus, so this will slow down my posting by a lot- but not stop it entirely, because the internet is crucial to my life right about now. I've only got one character (luckily?), so it shouldn't mess anyone up too bad in terms of plots...I think. Hopefully I can get this resolved soon. D:

	No problem! Hopefully it won't really affect anyone else, and I can just catch up using my computer lab time. And Acer's telling me that my original laptop was shipped back to me, so everything will be fine soon! :D (Reply to this) (Parent)

	"One million dollars or this big shiny computer gets it!" I'd be a really cheap criminal, I think. One million dollars feels like a bargain for the safety of government secrets. I'd also probably get caught because I am not at all sneaky and would leave a trail of computer bits in my wake. A codename probably wouldn't help me be a better criminal XD (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I'm the anti-robot? Slayer of technology? I don't even know :D I'm trying to stay amused by the situation. My roommate went around with masking tape and labeled all the electronics in my apartment with "STAY AWAY, TERESA! D:" so I clearly have my instructions. Although I'm not sure why she felt the need to label the fridge, I haven't managed to break that yet. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I'd offer a backup of one of my laptops, but the one that could connect to the internet doesn't pass the start up phase, and the one that turns on can't connect to the internet (and still runs Windows 95).

Hopefully the netbook comes back soon. I already miss you. 'Cause it's been... so long since I've seen you?
