"Yes," Jean-Paul answered, without even having to think about it, which surprised him a little. He lifted one shoulder in a half-shrug. He shook his head a little -- he hadn't really meant to share so much of what he thought, not in front of this boy he didn't even know. Drawing his feet up onto the edge of the deck again, he gave Victor a smile. "I think I'll go to fly now," he informed him. "I've interrupted your swimming enough."
