Who: Doreen and Kurt (OT Kevin?)
When: Thursday night
Where: His dorm room!
What: Surprise present! :B
Doreen had started to get settled into the mansion well enough. She knew where her room was, she knew where the kitchen was, she knew where they were going to train in the morning - and she knew where the cute blue boy roomed. She'd actually learned that one second, right after learning where she was going to room. She'd caught sight of him, but scampered off quickly. She spent much of Thursday happening to follow him for a bit before getting steered away by someone to find a new part of the mansion. She hadn't approached him yet, still didn't know his name... She wanted to meet him! But she was too nervous to just meet him! She needed to do something so she'd stand out! Yeah, that'd do it! She had to make a good impression. And everyone loved presents, right? With this thought in mind, Doreen scampered off to her room after a few more tours, tearing through what few things she had. Nothing... Hmm...
Doreen began to explore the mansion, humming happily. She'd find something, right?? Monkey Joe went off, too, with the express order to find something cool to give to Kurt! He was a little less than thrilled with his mission, though, and distracted by a ratty curtain hem in one of the smaller rooms. He gnawed at the edges for a bit - a rat or something must have done so too at some point before getting shooed out of the mansion, the curtain forgotten about with its tattered bottom. When he met up again with Doreen, he still had some of the thick threads stuck to his fur.
"Monkey Joe! That's genius! Can you get some more?" She really liked the faint silver lined in with the prominent light blue. Monkey Joe gave her an affectionate chitter, then ran off to eat the curtain up a bit more. He returned with plenty of threads - and the curtain was a good couple inches shorter. Doreen ran back to her room, deft fingers quickly weaving the threads together.
One bracelet later, wrapped up tenderly in some silver tissue paper she found after pestering Mister Cassidy, Doreen scampered up to the boys' dormitory. She carefully moved down the numbers until she found the right door. This was it. She hoped he was home. Right? Maybe it was better if he wasn't home. Was she ready for this? She wanted to know his name, though, and she wanted him to know her name! He was super-cute and he had to know that! She was so ready for this. Doreen took in a deep, deep breath, then knocked on the door. "Hellllllllo?"
