Who: Sean Cassidy, Cessily Kincaid, Remy LeBeau, and Scott Summers
When: Backdated to Tuesday, May 18, after this thread
Where: Scott's office
What: Detention Party!
Sean couldn't say he wasn't surprised to see a student coming to turn herself in. Cessily had marched right into his office to confess to punching Kevin Ford. The initial surprise, though, was that she had punched the boy in the face and suffered no ill effects. He supposed he should have assumed as much given her mutation, but he hadn't thought very hard on it. Now he was curious. And he wanted to make sure Kevin was all right. Besides, he just wasn't any good at detentions. He certainly enjoyed being one of the favorite professors, and he probably didn't discipline them very well. So while he would give the punishment, he really couldn't supervise it. He had something to be busy about, anyway. He gave Cessily a faint smile, giving her a pat on the shoulder after she'd told him the whole story.
"Well, lassie, while I appreciate yuir go-get-'em attitude, we prefer our kids settlin' things without tha violence. Somethin' ye can think on with a lil' detention, I think. Nothin' too bad. I hear that Sco-Mister Summers," he caught himself, so used to being casual. Not the time or the place. "I think Mister Summers started an hour-long, daily detention. Ye can join in for a couple days. Three. Sound fair, Miss Kincaid." It was phrased as a question, but there was no questioning tone to his powerful voice. He put his hand once more on Cessily's shoulder. "In fact, it should just be startin' now, so let's get goin'."
He left his hand on her shoulder, leading her out of his office and down the hall to Scott's office. He knocked once on the door, but didn't want for an invitation, just opening the door and looking in. "Hey, Slim," he called, smile undisguised on his face. "Got room for one more for a couple days? Tha lass needs a little guidance, and I got some things ta take care of."
