"Agreed," Betsy answered simply, not really having much more she could say on the issue. She knew very little on the biological workings of people, especially mutants, though she supposed at some point she should look into it. After all, Brian and herself were mutants, so did that mean James might be one as well? "I'm sure your coordination is much better than you're suggesting." She couldn't tell that Warren had highlights and thus left the comment at that. If she had known, she might have challenged Warren to try it sometime, but he was spared dealing with Betsy's teasing for the moment.
"I suppose that's true when you don't go out much." Betsy herself spent a lot of time inside, and understood how tasks usually pushed aside when one was busy ended up a priority when there was suddenly nothing to do.
Betsy sat back, nodding her thanks as she did so. She jumped slightly at the buzzing, knowing as she heard Warren pull something out of his pocket that it must have been a pager or a cell phone. Warren clarified it was a phone and excused himself, Betsy smiling despite wishing secretly he could stay a bit longer. "Thanks for cheering me up, mate. I look forward to chatting again sometime."
She heard him answer the phone, noting the change in his voice. She laughed to herself, knowing her brothers did the exact same thing, and sure even she did it when she used to take a professional call. She curled up on the couch, adding Warren to the list of people she wanted to do something nice for. Maybe next time she could be the one making Warren smile!
