who: Emma Frost and Bobby Drake, OT Regan and Jean Grey
when: After lockdown ends
where: Infirmary
what: After seeing to everyone who had been tranquilized, Emma has somehow landed the job of assisting Hank with the other injured students.
Now that the invasion of their home had ended, the staff and students of Xavier's school still had a lot of damage control to do. Most of the professors were working with the students to assess their needs, get them safely back to their rooms, and appraise them of the situation. Never before had there been a security breach on this kind of level to the school. Emma Frost could only be grateful the incident hadn't caught the attention of the local authorities ... yet. It would be too much of a headache having to deal with public scrutiny as a teacher at Xavier's on top of all the other daily dramas. Daily dramas that now included military invasion.
Emma Frost wasn't sure if she was being punished by being assigned to assist Hank McCoy with looking over the wounded and traumatized students in the infirmary. Wasn't this usually Jean Grey's job? There was a possibility that Xavier could have been aware of some of Emma's defensive actions she had taken against the soldiers, which included killing one with her bare hands. She had mostly stayed in her diamond form though and her psychic defenses were strong. Unless Xavier had intentionally pried or one of the students had seen and tattled, she doubt anyone knew of her actions - yet. Emma sat on a swiveling, rolling chair and rested as she dismissed yet another student who had successfully recovered from the effects of the tranquilizers the invading soldiers had used.
There were only three students left in the infirmary for Emma to look over - Josh Foley, Bobby Drake, and Regan Wyngarde. Josh Foley was comatose and his skin had suddenly transformed to black. Hank had run several tests and couldn't discern what was physically wrong with Joshua to have him in such a state. Emma had done a psychic probe and found that Josh's mind was still. While the boy wasn't brain dead and still had plenty of autonomic functions running, it was as if his mind was repairing itself from some kind of trauma. It was as if his brain had been a muscle that was worked too hard and now needed time to recover and repair itself. Emma assured Hank that as soon as Josh's mind had time to heal, he should wake up naturally. She had seen such trauma before, just from different sources. Unsure how long that would take, McCoy continued to monitor Foley's algorithms.
The other students...?
