Remy LeBeau ([info]jack_of__hearts) wrote in [info]academy_x,
((Beginning a couple of minutes before the attack.))

Remy was quite unaware that anything was amiss outside or inside the mansion. He was, however, becoming increasingly aware of everything amiss in his social life, and he wanted to fix that. No matter what he said to Logan, no matter what he might try to claim to anyone, Remy was a social creature who didn't like to see his social circle shrink. And he honestly did miss some of the people he'd pushed away - like his roommate. Of course, he hadn't taken all of the advice to heart - like cutting back on his drinking. He drank for a lot of reasons, and they kept popping up. So it was with whiskey on his breath and a beer in his hand that Remy found himself sneaking through the halls back to his room.

And saw someone else doing the same. Merde. Jono! What timing! Remy stumbled up the rest of the stairs, cringing as he hit the wall to steady himself, the bang echoing in his head. "Jono!" he called in a harsh whisper. He stumbled forward. "Jono!"
