Merribell grabbed her things when it was time to meet with Chris, she was secretly very happy that he wanted her company, even though it was never on her face. Her insecurity ran fairly deep, as did her other issues that needed to be hidden from others. When she appeared there, she looked half-disappointed as she didn't see him right away and found a place to sit down and sighed.

He was probably busy or had someone he wanted to be with.

Who knew.

Instead of doing anything, she just opened one of her books and started reading with difficulty.
