Severus nodded with a shrug to her thanks, which had the effect of making him tilt his head to one side more than anything. She made it sound as if he were doing her some tremendous favor, but it was no imposition to scribble things down in his book once and then his journal a second time, as well. He broke off trying to remember when, exactly she'd said it, but he was drawing a blank. To get up to speed over the summer, he had re-read all his notes from previous years, all of which he had kept because he was simply that meticulous. "--a while back about dragon dung being so caustic? A full ten on the Pritchard Scale? Belladonna can only tolerate fertilizers up to a seven. You'd think, being such a deadly poison, that it might be a little more hardy, but unfortunately, it isn't. The plant itself is relatively delicate, and far as plants that can kill you go. It's certainly no Devil's Snare or Venomous Tentacula."
