Her head bobbed a few times, that smile only growing. "I-I," she stuttered a moment, before kissing him quickly. "I just need to tell my mom first," she said happily, because her mother had to be happy for her. She would see, she had to see, that Miguel was her soulmate. Things would work out, she was sure of it. All thoughts of his infidelity were out the window, she trusted him, he was her other half.
"Miguel," she said suddenly, nearly bursting with excitement. "We need to celebrate." She started to step away, letting her hands slip down his arms, until she held his hands. "Did you know that I learned about these wonderful lifting charms tonight," she said casually, as she continued to walk backwards. "They help when you don't want any lines ruining your beautiful dress." Her heart raced, she had never been so bold, but they were engaged. A little snogging in the corner wouldn't be the worst thing, would it?
