Oh yes, she was terribly thirsty, Lucy realized as she finished the first glass quick enough to have it sloshing around her stomach uncomfortably. She was grateful, though, when he ordered a second one, even though she planned to drink it a bit slower this time. The last thing she wanted to do was vomit when she was having such a lovely night.
"Oh yeah, Violet's a fantastic musician," she said agreeably, though her smile was a little tight. They'd been year-mates at Hogwarts, so she'd known Violet forever, but she'd never quite meshed with the other girl. There was just something... lacking there, she rather thought. But she didn't minimize Violet's talent or begrudge her this success. Perhaps she was just surprised that she'd actually had enough drive to do something with all that talent. "But I'll never be disappointed to see Wes Carlisle perform," she admitted, her tone far more sultry than it would have been had she been sober.
