As the pumpkin was plopped down on the table in front of her, Scarlett stood up just enough to reconfigure her legs, twisting them under her like a pretzel. When she settled back down, she lifted her wineglass for a sip. "Ooh, right! You should. Kenz and I are good." Though that may be in part because the girls simply didn't talk about Aldrich. She wasn't even sure if Kenzie knew that she and Aldrich had... a thing.
A thing that she was quite proud of him for still being okay with not defining. She truly hadn't thought him capable of it, and she still worried he would resent her for keeping him from finding his one true love for the happy little family she knew he wanted someday. She just kept reminding herself that she'd made him promise he'd bounce if wanting it became more than wanting her.
"It seems like the show's really taking off. Think you'll want to stick with it for as long as they'll have you?" she asked. She had plenty of opinions about the show and how terrible the pairings were, but she tended to save those for her friends who weren't in the show.
