"Oh! I have to admit that's also not my thing," Frank replied. "I like history, despite the terrible teacher, but I like it when the romance isn't the main point of the book." Then they paused and squinted. "Umm, in case you didn't know, Hogwarts' History of Magic teacher is a ghost who is super stuck in his ways, since I'm guessing you went to Ilvermorny from your accent."
Frank sighed and took their hand away from their neck. "Thanks, but it's not itchy it's kind of pokey," they explained. "Super stiff and far higher than anything I'm used to. I'm hoping people will relax a bit when we get to the concert and I can remove it." The buttons which held the collar in place were hidden but easily accessible.
They nodded in agreement. "You look lovely, and it's definitely more interesting than most of the regency things I first saw when I was trying to decide on an era and gown versus suit." There were certainly options around in what seemed to be a regency style which were more interesting than Frank had spotted.
