Re: Book signing: Dagny and Frank
The accent came as a bit of a surprise and Frank almost missed the first few words, but responded with a groan and a slight facepalm instead. "I've read read Issawi, Jaimeson and Dupree already and I've been trying to make time for Wells for ages," they explained and sighed. "You know, I'd say I need to read less but I don't want Mrs Nott to overhear me and I'm not going to give up anyway."
They looked between the lines with a longing pause at the huge crowd Tashiro Akimi appeared to be gathering. "I should prioritise the ones I brought to get signed, I guess," they said and summoned their cloak carefully over the heads of all the people. They had had it temporarily altered to make it fit with their clothing, but kept it for the handily huge pockets. Sticking their hand inside they retrieved a small stack of books tied with a piece of string.
They tried to look down in their usual awkward way and were thwarted by the extremely high collar of their shirt and made a little gulping noise. "Did your dress take some getting used to?" they asked, running a finger between their neck and collar in a futile attempt to loosen it.
