Eiza gave her friend a smile of thanks for her understanding. "Been that busy, eh?" She asked, grateful yet again that she got to keep to her easy weekday hours, even during the busier times (though, really, at an old clock shop, how busy could things really get?).
"It's been... Well, boring as ever," she said with a laugh. "Uncle Henry's as obsessed as ever, too, though," she rolled her eyes. Her Uncle Henry was... A lot. It was like the way he'd been overprotective to her mother had somehow transferred to her.
She took a long drink of her first mimosa and asked, "Never ending, yes?" indicating the pitcher. There weren't many places that did bottomless mimosas, but the few there were, were definitely her favorites.
