Turns out keeping out of hospital and off the Juice for two months messes with you big time.
I'm still here in the Ward and they want me to stay at least tonight too.

"He sounds controlling." It probably wasn't his place to comment. He didn't have anything to compare it to. It was the Foundation and the Ministry tracking and taking care of him for as long as he could remember.

"I do." For the first time since they arrived, he thought about how chaotic his flat looked. Tracking her moving about the flat, he thought about cleaning the areas she had already seen.

"I hadn't exactly expected company." Well, not a hospital escape at least. He stood up trying to remember if there was anything he would be embarrassed for a guest to see.

Maria shrugged again, "Pros and cons - I let him control things, I never have to worry about a single luxury in the world, except for freedom anyway. And anyway, it's for my own good," she didn't elaborate.

"Anyway," she said, repeating herself and starting to feel... intrusive. She gave him one more shrug before heading towards what she figured was the exit - "Thanks for the jail break," she threw out with a wild smile, before disappearing behind his door and heading out into the busy streets to disappear for a few hours - or a few days, who knew, really.
