He felt her arm linger and a couple of muscles twitched in anticipation as he smiled at her more softly. "I've never been terrible at sports, but team games aren't usually my thing. I'll try most things once though," he said. It had been the same reflex which prevented him swearing or shouting at radio listeners which prevented him from starting with his last sentence just to see how it hit. Not that it was untrue in either placement, and it did make him smirk a little.

He watched as she started to climb. "Little more up and left," he said when one of her feet didn't quite make a hold. Watching her stretch and flex as she solved the bouldering puzzle (apparently they were a thing to solve not just climb) made him a little dry mouthed.
