Technically there was time, Tina knew that, but to her? There wasn't time. Her marriage had been a mess before this, it was all so much worse now. If she had just left him when she should have, well she wouldn't be in this situation. It was too late for those thoughts, and she was certain Lyra Malfoy didn't want to hear them either.
The thought that Lyra didn't want Miguel should have made her feel better, she found herself grimacing instead when she said that he was Tina's man. Why did it sound so awful to her ears?
"I don't know," she admitted sadly, hands moving to slip into the pocket of her jacket. She pulled out one of Miguel's business cards, sliding it across the table to the other woman. "Our life is a mess but we will love the child, please know that." Because one thing she knew for certain, she would be there if either asked. She just didn't think she could be his wife anymore.
