She'd let the thoughts sit and settle a little since Saturday. Kenzie had been a doll and let her know where she could probably find Tina. She'd thought about just asking for her number, but after talking to her mum a bit and muddling around, she'd decided that smacked a bit of cowardice, and she didn't want to be known as a coward. But she never minded added a little something extra to ease her way into an apology. She'd really felt bad about how Tina had looked at the restaurant that night, it had really stuck with her, and having been cheated on, she just... didn't like any of it. It left her feeling like an asshole, and while she didn't mind it most of the time, that wounded animal look had left her feeling bad about it.
So she decided to stop by Sweet Nothings and put together a little box of sweets to give Tina as she apologized. She hated apologizing, she wasn't really very good at it, her pride hated being swallowed, but this whole thing was a mess and she was trying really hard to be a better person, for her kid if nothing else, even if this time it was apparently blowing up in her fucking face.
Orion had been fussy this week, also contributing to her tiredness. He was feeding off of her, she knew, which meant she needed to calm her emotional arse down. Sometimes she really hated being a little stew pot of emotion. She had him propped on a hip as she entered the shop, she planned to drop him by Flourish and Blotts to play with Aunt Pansy, if she was there, or Uncle Theo. She didn't take advantage of them very often, but she didn't think Ori needed to be around the emotions that might go off.
"What do you want, Oreo?" she asked him, giving him a little bounce on her hip as she pointed to the various offerings. "Just one small thing."
