To say it had been a long week was a massive understatement. She had been so unable to concentrate at work that she showed up at Sweet Nothings just after lunch, skipping out early for once. She didn't want to go home, what would she say to Miguel? She also couldn't stay at work, how could she face Liam? Her life felt like it was crumbling under her, all she could do was keep living in her fantasy that nothing bad was happening.
Unfortunately, it seemed that today that bubble was about to be burst. As she pushed open the door to Sweet Nothings, she saw her immediately. There was no way the dark haired woman could have mistaken that woman anywhere. Celestina had had nightmares about her for weeks, and her ever growing belly. Large hazel eyes moved to the subject of her nightmares, feeling her own stomach sink. She really ought to leave...
Just as she turned to leave, her jacket got caught on the handle, and instead of leaving, she seemed to draw attention to herself. "Sorry!" She called out, her back to the shop as she righted the jacket. She was so certain she was on fire, but she couldn't just turn around and leave now. Instead, she forced herself to get into line, swallowing her embarrassment as best she could.
