Good news, weird news, news news.
First and foremost - new character. I've decided to pick up Bishop (big_guns). He will totally have wanted scenes by the time you read this. Until then, his profile is 99.99% functional. There are gaps in his relationship section, as well as people listed there who might not be savvy with it, so let me know if you have any thoughts either way.

Secondly, Leigh has decided to drop Mystique. She's now an NPC and will be for-ev-ar. I've decided to drop Dazzler (in exchange for Bishop) and she is now up for grabs.

We recently decided to dismiss Lauren (player of Wallflower and Shadowcat) due to inactivity, disobeying the rules, repeated (technical/journal-related) mistakes and grammatical errors after SEVERAL coachings... and so on. She voiced that she didn't wish to leave the game. I'd already removed her. Leigh and I thought it was prudent that we stick to our guns, and that second chances are nice, but we felt things wouldn't have changed. So she applied to play Blink with a new identity - "Dee" a 21-year-old. She included a new e-mail in her application, but the e-mail listed on the journal's userinfo was the same as her previous journals. She IMed me this morning after I began removing her a second time and asked why she was removed. I told her we knew it was her again and that it was deceitful and we weren't comfortable with someone like that being involved with the game. I've blocked both of her names on my machine.

P.S. / EDIT - I've decided to summarize Magneto's recovery from his plastic prison by the X-Men instead of playing it out immediately. I imagine Diamond being involved for sure, and possibly a slew of stealthy types (Gambit? Kitty? Nightcrawler? etc). So, if you'd like for one or more of your characters to be involved his with rescue, let me know. For details, click the second cut for this goofy-ass entry.

Hah. Use for a Queen lyric - priceless. Anyway, Monday, November 9th was when the Professor sent a team of X-Men to release Magneto. During their departure, a few were wounded, including Magneto. He was knocked unconscious (by a personal attack or a blast, perhaps). Because of his physical state, the involved parties decided to bring him to the mansion for medical attention. Upon his awakening, the Professor discovered that Magneto had suffered brain damage resulting in partial memory loss. There have also been some alterations in his personality (a bit more jovial / relaxed). Due to the delicacy of the situation, the Professor has insisted upon Magneto's 'recovery' happening at the school, and he has been under careful surveillance. He does not remember the events of Liberty Island, but it has been explained to him that he was "involved" with a terrorist group and criminal activity on a large scale and may receive resentment and/or aggression from some of the members of the team. It was also explained that he might be viewed as a traitor by members of said terrorist group, and has been advised to stay within the walls of the mansion to help be protected. The Professor believes that he can rehabilitate his old friend. Xavier has requested that the staff behave as respectfully as possible toward 'Mr. Lensherr', and all have been informed to keep details of his endeavors hush-hush. He was awake and interacting with people as of Wednesday, November 11th, 2009.
