The dreaded rules. These rules are here for all of us to have a good, smooth experience. As the mod I have the right to add or take away rules as the game goes. First off is spelling and grammar. I can say that I am one of the worst people at both spelling and grammar but if you take your time and read your post over and spell check it I will not get mad. But that is not to say that there will not be people that will get upset at a few problems. Again I ask you to read it over and spell check it. Players are currently only allowed 2 characters max (although this number is subject to change). As it will be difficult to play character that might be directly linked it will be one canon character and one original character. This is Glee, so any relationships (slash, het, and femmeslash) are all allowed. While this is AU, please try not to stray too far from the characters sexual orientation. PBs should be as close to canon as possible. Email me if you have an issue like not being able to find enough icons, but you have found someone similar. Exceptions can be made, but only if the Mod agrees. If you are looking for icons I suggest wikicon. I would love for you to be active, but I understand things come up. If you are going to be gone for longer than a couple days let the community know, but if you are on an indefinite hiatuses then it might be time to look at whether you can continue the game or not. It is not fair to other players RP drama will probably happen, but this doesn't mean disputes can't be handled civilly between players. If players are unable to end a dispute between themselves, they should contact the moderator at wintercollegemods@gmail.com. Individuals that start drama will only be given one warning before being dismissed from the game on the second offense. The same is true of those who are found to be participating in and/or encouraging drama. There will be no exceptions - drama will not be tolerated here. Players need to be sure they have a firm idea of their character's personality and the game's premise before applying. Likewise, players should make sure they're staying in character. Mary Sues/Gary Stus and godmodding are also not allowed. If any of the above is seen happening with a character, the player will receive two warnings before being removed from the game on the third offense. Each character's journal work for two reasons. One it is a journal or diary that is connected to other, like blog of sorts. Secondly it acts like an email system. This is where the emails come into play. If the entry is a journal/diary entry then the format is: [Private to (Name Here)] Text here. [/Private] If it is being used as an email then the format is: TO: Email of recipient(s) FR: Your email SUBJECT: What is the subject Then your message. Entries posted in journals are viewable to everyone unless stated otherwise. If it is an email, it is only veiwable to those people in the email. Thread headings should be formatted as follows: Who: [Who's involved this scene.] Where: [Where the scene is occurring.] When [What time of what is it?] What: [These are for the warnings, if any. If it is rated NC-17 please friends lock it. PG-13 and below does not have to be.] Why: [A short summary of the scene.] FAQ Question: What do you mean by AU? Answer: This game does not follow the Glee timeline completely. It is up the player to decide what they want. Basic things will stay, but ages are subjective. Please do not go crazy. If they are labeled underclassmen, then they can be a freshman or sophomore, same goes for being labeled an upperclassmen, they are either a junior or senior. Example of AU: Blaine never when to McKinley or met Kurt until Winter College. Question: Where exactly is Winter College? Answer: If you have read the premise, Winter College is in New York City. Question: Can you tell us more about the character limit and original characters? Answer: The character limit is two characters per player as it will be hard for a player to play a two canon characters, because of that your second character, if you choose to have one, will be an original character. When we get ten canon characters original characters will be accepted. Question: Can we choose who we want to be our character's roommate? Answer: You can choose your characters room mate, but if you choose not to, then I as the mod will assign the room. Question: There are no classes for the schedule, what do we do? Answer: You get to have the fun of creating classes. Questions will be add as I think of them.
