It was suggested at the coffee shop this morning that I try an eggnog chai tea latte and I must say it did not disappoint. I've had eggnog before but not used as part of another drink.

anne.

I've been asked to Bitty and Jack's wedding on the 5th and can bring someone, would you like to go with me?

That sounds like an utter warm delight, but do you want to know what I've discovered and may now survive on until the end of my days?

I do want to know.

Yes, you.

You had fun at Dan and Allison's, I thought you might be interested in going to another?

Frozen hot chocolate. It's frozen! But it's hot chocolate. How does that work? I don't know, exactly. But it just does.

gilbert:
Oh I did! It was a grand time and I would be happy to repeat it. Is it-- themed? Or masks? Or something more traditional like what we're used to? Sometimes I wonder how Cole would li

So it's hot chocolate flavoured ice cream?

anne.
I don't think themed like the last one is, but not quite traditional like we're used to. I can ask though? I've asked Larissa to help me find a gift, I'll ask her some more specifics for you.

MAYBE but you drink it through a straw.

gilbert:
Celebrating weddings is one of my favorite thing, and to be able to do it with two people that wouldn't have been able to our time? Oh, Gilbert. It's like a dream. To love who you want to love and to be happy. Aunt Josephine would be glad to see this.

Milkshake then?

I thought you might appreciate it.

I wish everyone back home could see that clearly the world has not fallen apart with all of this, might make them think twice on some of the things they believe.

Well, some of them maybe. The more OPEN MINDED ones, anyway. I don't know if Rachel Lynde will ever see past her own nose.

Looking past herself in general has never been Rachel Lynde's strong suit though.

Thank you.

anne.
I will admit I am curious to see what she'd make of all this though. I don't think she'd much like living here, but maybe a day or two.

I am only able to take one person. Is that - Is that alright with you, it being just us?

Visiting would be particularly hilarious, maybe she would learn a few things! Or just have a fit and need a fainting couch for a week.

You picked me over Oh. Um Would that even be proper, Mr. Blythe?

Probably a bit of both.

Not to the likes of Rachel Lynde no doubt, Miss Shirley-Cuthbert. However it seems the rules on what is and isn't proper are far different here and I don't think anyone would have issue with two friends attending an event together.

For sure, for sure. It feels a little bit better than just drinking straight coffee, because the chai tempers it, but you still get a boost.

Eggnog. It's a dairy based drink and they used it instead of milk for the latte.
