Lately, I have been waking up from these recurring nightmares. I know they can't be true, but they've felt so real that I can't shake this lingering sense of dread afterwards.

And why is the house so damn cold? (Brienne, have you been playing with the thermostat?)

I think this place is beginning to mess with my head.

	You should get out there and get some sun while it's still warm during the day. My friends told me not to move here because of the dreams. Lara dreams of things I can't even imagine, she wakes up all kinds of scarred up. But I didn't want to run away from them, or her. I won't run away from you, either! I don't feel much like surfing and sun today, Sam. Send my apologies to Lilo. Tell her I'm sick. I'll try again tomorrow, but I know if I'm still this spent I'll just end up wiping all over the beach.

Thanks, Sam, I appreciate that, but I don't want you getting hurt or emotionally scarred. I mean, Laura would kill me. So I think it's best you keep your distance until I can objectively figure out what these nightmares are all about. I'll keep you posted as I figure things out.
