Hello lovelies! I am writing to tell you...
I've been absent as of late! I haven't checked UTR in a bit, and that's because aside from being around on email (as always) and lurking on Facebook here and there, I've not been online much.
I have carpal tunnel. It started with my pregnancy over three years ago and while my doctor and I hoped it would get better and go away after I had my daughter and when I stopped breastfeeding, it did not. It has in fact, gotten worse. I'm now wearing compression gloves off and on throughout the day and at night to alleviate the worst of the symptoms, but typing is still painful.
We're working on getting me some meds that will help until I can schedule (and afford) surgery. So for a little while longer, I will be kinda scarce. If your pups want any of mine, email me a link to a post and I will reply. If I'm in a log with you right now, poke me and remind me because I'm an idiot and have forgotten who I'm logging with. Even if it's an old log, I would love to finish it!

And there's the one Sage already mentioned, Henry Stillman (henri_with_a_y), he's the boy version of Henn and he's eight. That's ... pretty much all there is to say about him. |

Okay folks, I've had this lovely lady in UTR before wayyyy back when we were still at GJ and briefly when we moved here to IJ. This is Delbchaem. Delbchaem is the physical embodiment of the Celtic symbol of fertility and magick. She can be a horny little freak, but she's very sweet, a major flirt and all around happy person. And she enjoys teasing the other Joss!characters in my head because they are totally the opposite. What do you expect from Jane Seymour and the reincarnation of Anne of Cleves...?
As you can see, her PB is Joss Stone when Joss had her pink/purple/black hair. She likes logging and walks in the... er...
Anyone wants to play with her, let me know because she'll want to tie them down and lick them forever and we can plot. :-D |

Hidey ho! On behalf of the Misses Sterling, Sarah, Ven and Myself, I'd like to inform you all of some changes to our pups' offspring.
Starting soon, the babies Sor Skwigelf, Cassie Turner, Tej Wartooth, Henry Stillman, and Marten Harris are going to be aged up, Soap Opera style. The little girl, Lilo, will be sixteen, just to keep with the pattern.
No, this won't be affecting Cass, Soren, Henn, or Sable.
Nobody will notice anything different. But the news is, we've got a crapload of kids that will-or-will-not be bouncing around the world now. For my two, they'll probably ignore the internet. They're pretty much background filler as they were, but now they've got personalities, and we felt the desire to characterize them. :D
Anyway yes! Welcome the not-so-new bittykids. Or y'know. Don't. It's all good!
Of course, they'll be popping in as time and schedules allow. |

Misha here, with one more pretty pretty boy to add to the mix. The pup is Thomas Raith, of the Dresden Files (book) series. Sadly, Thomas, who ;looks like some forgotten greek god of body cologne' never made it to the TV show. On the plus side, that opened me up to a world of PB possibilities, and I settled on Gerard Butler.
Thomas is an incubus, known as a White Court vampire within the structure of the books written by the amazing Jim Butcher. I'm just now reading Dead Beat, the seventh in the Dresden Files books. When I saw Jim at Stellar Con two years ago, he stated there will be about 20 books in the series, with a trilogy to finish it off. Roughly 23 books. Thomas is a work in progress.
He feeds off emotions and of course sexual contact, but unlike most of his kind, he is very conscience os his feeds, and usually just feeds enough to recharge, and then moves on. He's very aware of going too far, as he nearly killed himself and the girl he loves. He is generally unable to hold a job, and play at being human, because people tend to throw themselves at him, given his magnetism and charm. Still, he's (mostly) harmless, unless riled.
I'm open to any sort of lines you want to throw at him. |

I have a problem. You see, I would like to get rid of a small handful of puppets (almost all OCs, none ever played more than once or twice), but I can't seem to figure out exactly how to DO that on the wiki. Would some generous soul care to give the technologically challenged a hint?
I also have a NEW puppet, who y'all should tag. That would be Riordan. He's an OC, has MaGiCkAL pOwERz like everyone in his bloodline (though he doesn't use them much), and likes to create shenanigans and be weirdly romantic at people. And sometimes livestock. But we don't judge. He's an ~*artist*~. He's also Miniver's... cousin, or something.

Okay I am a glutton. For a personal storyline push, I have decided to temporarily change Katherine of Aragon's PB. For the next few weeks (seeing it through till Halloween), Katherine has been reverted to a modern version of her younger self. She's about 24-25 years old, around the time when she would have married Henry after the death of Arthur. However, she has all her current memories, including arriving here.
The story behind the change is that her manager is a magic user and time manipulater. As a note, Katherine took over for her RL PB Maria Doyle Kennedy who is a singer as well as an actress. I don't know if MDK is releasing an album right now, but for the purpose of what I am doing *Katherine* is. The manager is trying to find ways to spice up album sales as things are released and photo shoots occur so his big plan is to revert Katherine to her younger age in looks, but she has all the memories. So for a few weeks, Katherine's PB is going to be Mylene Jampanoi, then she will revert back to Maria Doyle Kennedy. |

First, he's big, he's bad, he's Satan's male counterpart, please give a warm welcome to Mephistopheles! Ascending from the 8th circle of hell, our little demon friend here is blind as a bat and batty for torture! He's already made a few friends here in UTR due to being bored and dicking around in dreams. Please, don't be afraid. He only bites when his hands are tied behind his back and he can't do anything else.
Next, is my favorite kid from cartoons these days, Phineas Flynn. He and his brother Ferb had adventures every summer vacation, 104 a year, at least! So if you have some silly project going on, don't hesitate to call him up and ask him how to build it extraordinarily well, since he's got at least 10 years of experience! |

HI EVERYONE. It's Solange, I have a new OC. Meet Agent X.
Basically, she's a badass immortal that runs off faulty nanobots that occasionally make her hallucinate, but keep her strong, fast, and able to heal in supertime. She can also hop through universes (not anymore of course), make other people hallucinate by touching them, and teleport to anywhere she's been before. She feeds off blood (and food and stuff, and reeeally likes booze).
Because she's had 1,000 years of combat experience and missions to many many universes, she might even be familiar with YOUR pup's universe. This doesn't mean that she interacted with main characters from that canon or was part of any key plot points or anything- it simply means that she may have passed through and knows how that universe operates. If you want your pup to have known her, either as friends or enemies, from anywhere along her timeline (from when she was an evil creature's tool, or now that she's a neutral but usually immoral space criminal), hit me up so we can work out a backstory.

Misha here, just making an official announcement that I'm kinda sorta on hiatus until next Wednesday. I'm leaving Thursday right after work, for a long weekend at the beach. I'll be back Monday but I expect I'll be too wiped to do much RP. I work Tuesday but then my mom is having surgery on Weds and I'll be off work, so I'm hoping to get caught up again then.
I'm not leaving till Thurs, so I'm home through Weds night this week, but I don't know how much RP I'll do, so I'm saying kinda sorta on hiatus to cover my butt if I'm not very active between now and then. Back in the swing by next Thursday, though! |

No drops today, but I am adding a couple.
First, Asher and Cai (Brad Pitt and Damian Lewis) from the once thriving game of Let's Cruise which is sadly dying a painful death. Both come with significant others, as letting the characters die with the game just wasn't an option we wanted to entertain. Asher is a former escort, he'd been working as a gentleman host on board the ship. Cai was the ship's asst. cruise director, but he's recently knocked up the girl he's fallen in love with, and they're going to start a little family together in UTR land.
Second, from another defunct game I bring Parker Preston Whitley, reincarnate of Wesley Wyndham Pryce Aziraphale, from Good Omens. Parker has full control over Aziraphale, and is at relative peace with his status as a reincarnate. he'd been working for the Reincarnate Agency, helping others adjust to being a reincarnate. He shares a love of books with Zira, and is able to do many of the things Zira can do. PB is Christian Slater Paul Blackthorne.
Also from that game, I have Dexter Henley, reincarnate of Harry Dresden. Dex isn't quite as comfortable with Dresden as Parker is comfortable with Zira. He's still learning to harness Dresden's powers and abilities, and occasionally has mishaps. Hopefully he won't burn any major cities down, or anything of the sort. His PB has been changed from Hugh Laurie to Robert Downey Jr.
This should be it, for a while. I keep saying that, I know. But hey, I'm pretty much down to just UTR and Journey, for games, since everything else has gone south recently. *sigh* |

On the neutral end of things, Tobias (birdboy) is getting a make-over, and a bit of his other-game charm. I'm aging him back up from Jamie Bell to Aaron Eckhart (21-31), as he had been elsewhere. This is going to make him an employee at X-Factor (if that's alright, Krys?), and a bit less on the emo/freaked-out side of the spectrum.
And, as per usual, a couple applications- at least it's only half as many as I dropped?

Hey there, one, all and sundry! Today is the IRL release of Dethklok's Dethalbum II. To celebrate this, we over here in the little enclave of Dethklok playing people (Pretty much giving full credit to Solange on this one, actually) Are bringing Chaos and Disorder into the game.
There will be riots on the streets. People will be burning down entire city blocks, and going mad in a way that only can be incited when militantly loyal fans get riled up about something (see: any time the Red Sox win. Only a billion times bigger.)
I myself have been hinting and throwing in little points to show that Mordhaus, the home of Dethklok and their respective families, has started coming into its own in this world. Soon, Mordland will be fully functional. The band themselves - now consisting of two older-than-canon guitarists, two vocalists, a female-but-right-aged lead guitarist, Teja working backup for bass, and an NPC'd Pickles, have been working their asses off to produce new music for this reality.
And if your pups are into metal, feel free to have them go batshit over this release. It's epic. |

So thanks to his mutinous crew of Bonney, Turner and Cheevy, Jack now has a haircut. The dreads are gone aside from the one with the most beads in it on account of it was shorter than the others.
He's still quite sullen about this, even though he realizes that he looks quite foxy. |

But the real point of this post is to say Jamie is about to post his intro in the logs comm. He's a Scottish highlander from the eighteenth century, he would have no idea what to do with the side kick, and so in addition to Claire, I'm looking for someone to maybe sort of mentor him on modern society.
