It's a little surprising, yeah, but this place is full of surprises. One thing happens in the past in one universes time line, something completely different happens in another's and two different outcomes occur. Like the butterfly effect, sort of. Only with people and events instead of butterflies. It's interesting.

...I got a little deep-rambly there. But yeah, I'm okay with it. My world, he didn't happen; his world, I didn't happen. It balances.
