Reasons for recommending: This has got to be the slashiest non-slash TPM story I ever read. It's hard to say why without giving anything away. But I can say that the gut-wrenching emotional rollercoaster is quite satisfying. There's angst, action/adventure, and humour all wrapped up in one neat package. I love the setting, and all the character, and I especially love the way Obi-Wan's character plays off of... uh, I've said too much.

Way back in July, [info]splix recced Pumpkin's Snapshots series. Somehow, I managed to miss adding it to the memories. Yesterday, [info]batagur also recced "Snapshots." When [info]splix pointed out it was a repeat, she alertly came up with Plan B, "In the End Is My Beginning," also a fine choice.

So, since we don't really need two "Snapshots" recs, I added the original rec to the memories and deleted the second. [info]batagur still has a rec out there, and all is right with the world.

    Sorry for any confusion.

    Title: Deviations
    Author: Destina Fortunato
    Rating: NC-17
    Pairing: Qui-Gon Jinn/Obi-Wan Kenobi
    Warnings:... )

    Author's e-mail, web site and/or LJ id: destina @ ix.netcom.com, Worlds Without Boundaries,[info]destina
Link to story: on MA (Deviations) and the author's web site
Reasons for recommending: This is a work from early in the fandom, possibly the first piece that inspired me to send feedback to an author. It's a short, hot bit of Obi worship told from Qui-Gon's very masculine perspective.
