HELLO EVERYBODY, MY NAME IS KIM. I am sleep deprived and tapped out from a hot yoga class, so obviously I need to assault the OOC page with my nonsense.

I think I forgot to introduce Buffy here? So I have a stone and I'm killing two birds with it, sorry PETA. Anyway! Start with the newb.

This is Yuna from Final Fantasy X! She's from the same universe as the now-destroyed Zanarkand is. Sort of. She's in the future. And stuff. What's with me and time-related characters? Anyway, she's not a time traveler, so that's irrelevant. I digress. As usual. So, Yuna is from close to the end of the game, but I didn't let her go through the heartbreak (spoilers!) of losing stuff 'n things. She has her Aeons so don't be surprised if you see this guy standing guard next to her in the hallways sometimes. She's like four feet tall, so it's cute, right? If you are not familiar with Final Fantasy X, here's my poor run down of Yuna.

x She apologizes a lot.
x Optimism is what her name means. (Actually, it means evening and should be romanzed as Yuuna or Yūna, but that's just me being a language snob. Also, Yuna just looks prettier.)
x She is a summoner, meaning she can summon FANTASTIC BEASTS and stuff that protect her in different ways.
x Definitely the martyr type, so try not to let her die for you. She's willing to do that for Spira, and she's also willing to do it for a chocobo.
x Although she's definitely naive and innocent, she's perceptive and wise.
x Be her friend.

And then I have an AU Buffy I brought in 'cause she's my hero and I'm only 10% embarrassed to say that. Mine comes from a ~different timeline~ in which she gets put in the coma instead of Faith. She woke up from being in it for a year, so she has no idea what happened back home, and she's also not far along enough that Dawn has been planted in her memories. Amongst other tragic things that happened. She's an eighteen year old heartbroken teen on the verge of graduating high school in a nineteen year old body. Also, she's from 1999, which is basically where my comprehension of slang started and stopped, so I'm in real business now! This Buffy isn't as jaded and cynical as she grows up to be (don't we all), but she's definitely not as strong-willed without Giles around to tell her what to do. Be her friend, too.

OKAY. So, yep. They're all here for poking and please do so. I'm forever slow, but I really do love writing and plotting so always feel free to message me. I forget to turn on AIM a lot, but if you see me on, pester me. I'm ADD so I never notice who's online. AND EMAILS ARE YOUR FRIEND 'cause I can reply to them from my iPhone. Which, btw, if you ever get a comment reply from me that's worded weird or something, blame my phone's autocorrect plz and thank you.

Omfg that took them for fucking ever. Like they were literally working on my computer right up until the very last second tonight and I waited an hour in the store for it so that I wouldn't have to either a) go back into the city tomorrow when I didn't have to, or b) wait until Wednesday to have my computer back.

But it's back. And I'm back. And I'm going to try to catch up on at least some of the things tonight, but I am totally exhausted so some of it might still have to wait til tomorrow. SO SORRY for those of you who've been waiting for tags for like a week now-- I managed to tag on my phone a bit for the first couple of days and then the week got busy and I got too tired to deal with how much extra work it is to write stuff on my phone. BUT I HAVE MY COMPUTER BACK. So now you will have tags. And those of you that I have planned stuff with-- we will have threads.

HI GUYS. My trackpad has been acting up on my computer (it has a mind of its own and it's getting really annoying) so I'm turning it in tonight to get fixed. I expect to have it back by Friday. I'll have limited tagging abilities on my phone and will be totally accessible by email but I won't be on AIM and I might well just take the time off to work on my NaNo.

So, I'll be slow at best until Friday or the weekend-- if I don't manage to tag things from my phone, then I'll get back to all of my tags by next weekend at the latest. Sorry in advance if you don't get tags til then! Email me if there's anything urgent. ♥

As of 9:00 PM this evening, the being known as "Sin" will decimate Zanarkand and nothing can be done about it. This is a fixed point in time and characters will have to react accordingly. There is a group thread everyone can tag into and respond to. Though if you'd prefer to write your own threads, that's okay too.

Every character who interacts with this plot would do best to remember that they must keep their teleportation bracelet on at all times. Removal will doom them to the same fate as the people of the city and Suri will not be able to collect them. Suri is also still available for inquiry if you feel there's time. By midnight, Zanarkand and the HMS Surprise will be gone.

Characters Can:
-Rescue NPCs and escort them back to Suri
-Fight the creatures in the streets
-Have a chance meeting with Auron and Tidus should you know who they are.
-Have a horrific panic attack and need rescuing.

Characters May Not:
- Change History
- Kill Sin

The painters working on our buildings in the complex knocked something out and Verizon needs to get off its lazy arse and fix it. The mod duties will be handled, however. The city of Light that never sleeps

In the early morning of October 25th, the Surprise will set in orbit above a planet that from orbit looks to merely be made up of a single island mass. This island, known as Spira, is where the Surprise intends to allow it’s passengers to stop off on to stretch their legs, gather any supplies they might want or require and see if there is anyone in the area to pick up that the computer itself has not noticed.

While, the island itself is the focus of the Surprise’s attention, the passengers will be set down in Zanarkand, in the days before Sin’s destruction. While the Surprise makes some touch-ups and attempts to sort out where they are going next, the passengers will be permitted to explore the city and the surrounding area, but it would be wise to not wander too far, as it is a long travel without airship or chocobo transport.

In Character

- Suri will answer any questions the passengers may have in her usual sarcastic and annoyed manner. Feel free to ask her about the food, the history, the religion and whatever else you want to know. She will not, however, tell you about what is about to happen to it’s people. It is not due to the collapse of realities, so she will not deem it important. Your characters cannot themselves recognize it and realize what is meant to happen. The no canon puncturing rule will apply to realities as well as characters.

- However, the passengers might be able to rescue a few of the random citizens of Zanarkand and allow Suri to set them down in another, more stable reality in the next stop. This is not a collapsing reality, but is still deemed too unstable to remain in for longer than a week.

- While there, the passengers may explore the market place, their money will have been transferred to gil, the standard currency of all the lands of Ivalice. They can do whatever they like, as the city is used to travelers from all over and will think nothing of the strangers who are wandering through the city. You can visit the blitz ball stadium and take in a game.

- The passengers will not be permitted to bring any of the creatures they find in the city on board. That means no Moogles. Yes, they’re cute. No, you can’t keep them. And no chocobos, they’re huge and the ship doesn’t have anywhere to house them and no one wants to clean up after them.

Out of Character

- The plot is meant to last a week, the last day being the day that Sin arrives to destroy Zanarkand (November 1st). The characters will not be able to remain behind and help, as the destruction and consequent saving of Spira is in the hands of Tidus and his party and is a fixed point in Spira’s history.

- Yes, we are touching down in a world from Final Fantasy. This does not mean, that you can encounter any of the characters from FFX aside from the creatures themselves. Tidus, Yuna and the rest wouldn’t be there, since this is meant to be years before the beginning of the game.

Hola everyone!

I'm Frost, and I'm new. I wasn't quite coerced into the game, but it was pretty close. :) I'm pleased to be here though, everything looks awesome and I've poked around enough already to feel well impressed by everyone's stuff so far. I think I even know a few people! (What's up, Matt?)

Anyway, I picked up the canon version of Castiel (a la Supernatural) -- he's straight from the end of the last episode of season 8, so he's newly human and not quite aware of it yet.

Castiel is... going to be grumpy. And I'm not sorry enough for it, because it's going to be fun. He's going to be learning how to be human in a completely foreign space (haha get it?) and it might take him a while to adjust. Eventually he'll learn that eating is a thing he needs to remember to do, and sleeping is equally important. Once he's used to all that, he'll learn smaller more subtle things about life, like the fact that no one should try speaking to him before coffee in the morning, and that no, his hair will not behave no matter how hard he tries.

Despite his tendency to be terse and a bit snippy, Cas is actually a fairly social, friendly guy and quite looks forward to squinting at everyone in vaguely irritated confusion. :)

Good morning HMS Surprise! I'm Alex and am bringing in Simon Tam from the TV Show Firefly/Movie Serenity (he's post movie). Anyway, back home he was a trauma surgeon before he decided that something was wrong with his sister and decided to rescue her from the 'advance school' that she was in which turned out not to be that. The two of them ended up on the run with the Alliance (Government) after them. They ended up on Serenity where he worked as a doctor, River was River and they participated in Heists.

Simon is highly intelligent, loyal and can be rather stubborn at times. But he will do anything for those who he calls friends and family.

Amy here with hopefully my LAST character for a while - I know I say that all the time, so take that however you will. RP is kind of like a bad drug addiction, but it's free and there's no long lasting damage that I know of yet, so until then, my power to say no is all but nonexistent

This is Zev Bellringer from the ultra-cheesy and ultra-bizarre LEXX series. If you grew up in the 90's, this is the show you watched when there was no Farscape, Stargate, or Star Trek on and your parents had probably gone to bed XD. Zev is coming in from the end of the first season (ie, before they ruined her character) and knows at least a LITTLE something about space travel since she lives on a spaceship already and has no definitive home. She's what is considered a "love slave with a personality," meaning she was sentenced to being transformed into a brainwashed sex slave for failing to perform her wifely duties, but she got away before the transformation could be completed. She's a bit naive, but in no way is she a complete dummy.

This girl has a fatal attraction to exploration and curiosity - partially due to the fact that her DNA is mixed with that of a cluster lizard. A carnivorous insect-reptile hybrid creature with a bad temper. I promise, she doesn't bite unless sincerely pissed off and desperate. Or punch. Sometimes she gets punchy too.

Looking forward to seeing how she fares on this rust bucket and having her meet all of the locals <3!

Hi everyone! I'm late to doing this, crazy week. Sorry 'bout that. Anyway, hello hello! I know some of you, I think, yes? No? Maybe? Hi for the fourth time anyway! Little bit groggy from having just woken up, so I'm ramble-y. Yep. What was I saying.. oh, yeah, k. Focusing! Should've made tea first. x.x

I bring you my latest favorite guy to play, the Doctor! (Hi Eleven!) He comes from before regenerating into Eleven, so he's pretty, y'know, depressed but trying to face death bravely. Yadda yadda. Once he's situated and ecstatic for not being dead, he'll be boisterous and hitting high notes in excitement around the clock for the circumstances. Sorry in advance to the eardrums for your characters. He's generally a sweetie pie with unintentionally rude tendencies, and so is extremely apologetic to compensate for it (sincerely, too). New things fascinating him and make him giddy, so expect him to be a chatterbox. He just doesn't like talking about himself unless he likes you, and even then he sucks at opening up.

Oh, and me. I'm Kim. Worst at introductions. I'm gonna read this when I'm back home tonight and be like, 'dafuq?' Key things! I forget to get on AIM mostly 'cause it's pointless, I live in Asia, so it's sometimes sucky to connect one-on-one with me. I like emails! I can respond to them on my phone when I'm commuting and between classes, so that's a good way to reach me. Please do 'cause yay plots, love 'em! PLOT END:
Early this morning, Room 114 sealed itself off once again and the interior of the HMS Surprise returned to "Relative Normality." You may stil backdate any posts if you still wish to play with this plot. Any changes you wish to keep as a result of the singularity is completely to your discretion, but not to worry. A blue planet is now visible in the distance for anyone who thinks to look. Feel free to mention it and Suri will furtively take the characters' questions if they have any.

RULES UPDATE:
Rule #7 is now as follows:
If you are bringing in a duplicate of a character who is already present, the significant other of a character who is already in game, or a close friend/family member, we ask that you PLEASE contact the canon mate(s) in question and make sure it's okay with them first. We want to avoid any unnecessary drama and as the mods, we feel it's our job to protect our players from any discomfort.

The application has also added a question regarding this. If you're already in the game, you do not need to go back and make any corrections. This simply applies to any app's in the future and is in place to avoid any potential in-game stalking.

HELLO EVERYONE!

Sorry that it's been awhile. I've actually been in the game for a few days, but haven't had an opportunity to introduce myself. Anyway, super excited to be here! I am bringing with me The Doctor of Doctor Who fame, the Eleventh incarnation, who's a bit eccentric and quirky as hell.

If you don't watch Doctor Who, shame on you and make sure to watch it because it's fantastic. I kid though, about the shaming. If you haven't watched it, he's a bit hard to explain but I'll do my best.

Like stated before, he's eccentric and quirky. He's a 900+ year old alien from the planet Gallifrey, and his people are the Time Lords. He has a rather large obsession with the planet earth though and protecting it and the human race, though that can sometimes mean he gets a bit of an angry side with humans when they become, well, human. And you know what we all mean by that.

That angry side doesn't come out often, and when it does is usually kind of a giant 180 from what you're expecting; that being said, it's there and when it arrives it's serious and not without reason and can even be a bit frightening to those who know him, and intimidating to those who don't.

He's a curious man who has a lot of passion and emotion, but is also completely brilliant and a remarkable problem solver/investigator. His emotions range from one extreme to the next, and is rarely seen hovering in any state of doldrum. Over all though, he's fun and loyal and completely enjoyable to be around, if you're not perceived as an enemy.

He'll be likely to stuff his nose where it doesn't belong, because he feels it's his job to constantly keep things proper and to help.

And he's completely weird so you'll have fun with him. Throw yourselves at him!

I've been playing for a long time, and have taken the Doctor on as a character in the past couple of years and really really enjoy him and the show. Unlike most, I do not hate any incarnation of The Doctor, nor do I dislike any companion, so I'm open for all and everyone because I just love the concept of the show so much and enjoy it.

As for all of your other fandoms, I likely haven't watched all of them or experienced all of them but that's the point of a panfandom isn't it? To play around in other backyards, so please! ALL OF THE PLOTS! Friends, rivals, enemies, lovers, potential enemies, potential lovers, and the whole shebang! I'm looking for it all.

Hello out there, friends and compatriots and players and stuff!

I'm Alice, I've just joined, and I'm bringing you the cutest little ball of fluff ever to fight cannibal-giants Historia, also known as Christa, from Attack on Titan! She's a fifteen-year-old soldier from a pretty godawful world where people have been forced to live inside walled cities to avoid being eaten by the titular Titans, whose sole purpose for existing appears to be eating people like some kind of All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet deal. Despite the fact that life in her world is terrible, Historia is a a really nice, charitable, helpful girl - there's more to it, but it can be found in her bio, along with some spoilers about her personal arc (and why she's got two names). Suffice to say, if you'd rather not have spoilers for the Attack on Titan manga, that she just recently decided to switch names.

(If you're not familiar with Attack on Titan, it's that thing that is suddenly overwhelmingly popular in the anime fandoms where people fly around in bondage-looking pants fighting really, really weird-looking naked giants. It is a show about mood-whiplash, amazing lady characters, and ruining lives.)

AND I HAVE A QUESTION, A PERTINENT QUESTION: the universal communicators, do they have a speech function or is it all typing? That sort of determines how Historia's first post is going to go, seeing as the tech level in her world is more or less printing press.

As Lynsey's post just announced, there's going to be a FUN Q&A with the crew to help people wrap their heads around how little and how much everyone knows. And they might even be easier to talk to than Suri!

So. . .give me like five minutes to set that up and you guys can tag in with the characters' questions, complaints and kitten whispers.

Aloha everyone. Lorita here with two characters so far:

Willow Rosenberg from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've made her AU from late season seven onwards because the comics were absolutely batshit crazy. I will be fully writing out this AU in detail soon, I just need to fully recover and catch up from a trip to England. Watch the space of her journal, soon it will be organised. To those who don't know her though, just know that she's a tech-savvy witch and is really quite sweet and lovely to be around when she isn't overcome by the dark side of magic and turns into Darth Rosenberg.

Next up is Kal'Reegar from Mass Effect. He's a quarian, which is a species of alien from the videogame series. He's a marine, but is also tech-savvy thanks to his species being a space-faring species. He takes shit from no one, is kind of sassy, and sounds like Adam Baldwin, which is awesome. Otherwise he has to live in his enviro-suit because all quarians' immune systems are rubbish. Also, his DNA turns the opposite way as everyone else on this ship and this is a dextro-protein species. Because of this he has to eat particular foods and consume particular drinks that reflect this. Let's hope the ship kept that in mind for him, otherwise he will starve to death rather quickly! (Note to Meg, and everyone else: don't eat the dextro-food.)

His AU is also being written up. It's really quite different from the ending of the series thanks to it also going crack-smoking crazy, but again. Recovering. Tired. Stuff to do.
