Artist's Notes: This is very LOOSELY based off of [info]rinsbane's fic "The Fire Escape". It's not based off any particular scene in the fic, but rather something I imagined as a typical scene in the fic-verse. I liked the overall feeling/mood of the fic and I wanted to illustrate it.

I love that you can't quite be sure whether Harrys smiling or not. He looks so lovely and peaceful. Snape, on the other hand, is the image of doubt and anguish. Wonderful portrait of the aftermaths of sex!

Ooh, lovely. I've not actually read the story (which is an oversight, given the flailing I do over [info]rinsbane's writing), but the pic is gorgeous. Love Harry's hair, and the mellow poses and setting. And Harry's one shoe, yay :-). Lad looks well shagged.

Oh, wow. I'm just completely in love with the look on Harry's face. I feel like I could stare at this picture for hours and hours and still feel the same giddy excitement. Snape's pose and feet, Harry's posture, the little hints of pink on Harry's cheeks and elbows, Harry's messy hair - gah! What a brilliant way to start the game. Absolutely beautiful.

This is absolutely beautiful!

I love Snape's expression, as if he's still wondering what just happened. Harry looks adorable in his pink stockings. Their hair is just perfect.

And that they're smoking, that's the icing on the cake.

Oh, this is wonderful! I'm so glad someone alerted to me to its posting - I'd not been paying one bit of attention. Bad me. *g* I love that even though it's no scene from the fic, I feel like it's almost an illustration of a scene we missed because it's got that tone to it. But maybe I just see it that way since I wrote the fic - it's such a strong drawing that it stands alone and of course doesn't need the fic at all. I love their expressions, the aftermath of being caught in this Otherworld where Harry can wear pink stockings and sit on a bed with Snape, and not either of them freak out. They look pensive, but not unhappy. Really kind of peaceful, abiding, the after-sex smoke. And the blush spreading down to Harry's shoulders is ten kinds of delicious. The darling boygirl prince. I love this, all their thin lines, weepy muscle.

Froggie, what gorgeous work! I particularly love that Harry is wearing a single shoe; it tells me how needy and wanting they were, how passionate, and gives me a context for this quiet scene. Love the poses, Harry's fabulous colour, Snape's crossed feet and their separate-but-togetherness.

I do hope that you'll archive this at WTP after the Games; the archive'll be poorer without it if you don't! Lovely, lovely work. *sighs*

This is great, I love introspective!Snape (or at least I imagine he's introspective). Harry has pink stockings and one shoe, fab. Oh and what I assume is Snape's robe over the end of the bed, perfect.
