Artist's Notes: This is very LOOSELY based off of rinsbane's fic "The Fire Escape". It's not based off any particular scene in the fic, but rather something I imagined as a typical scene in the fic-verse. I liked the overall feeling/mood of the fic and I wanted to illustrate it.

Holy cripes, I LOVE this. I especially love how it's not the flowers-and-hearts type of romance, but drips with angsty melancholy despite the post-coital scene. I'm in love with the blush on Harry's cheek. Both of their faces are amazing, actually! Harry looks so hopeful, while Snape is all "No good can come of this." The entire curve of the right side of Harry's body is enchanting--you can practically smell his musculature, pale and tempting. And I hate how sexy smoking is, 'cos it IS! :D And the one shoe off, and the upward splay of Harry's toes. Such a beautiful scene.

	The way you used color in this is spectacular; it gives the picture a kind of redolent seediness that really has me over the moon! Your Snape is spectacular; I could just stare at him for hours, while your Harry has a femme fatale look that makes me think that perhaps he's poisoned Snape's cigarette. Wonderful work! 	I love it. The whole scene is so... nonchalantly sexy? I think that would be the right term. They seem so at ease with each other. Like if it was perfectly normal for them to just lounge around and smoke after a long day. And Harry in pink stockings! And even so my eyes steal once and again to the red shoe. (Pump?) Fantastic.
