*didn't know that an AK could deflect* O_o *thinks that there's now no chance at all that Harry is alive, but will absolutely NOT be the one to tell Snape that*

Well, it wasn't really a reflection. It was just that Harry had totally exhausted himself at that point with his injuries. It takes a lot to cast an AK. But yeah, if it had of - I wouldn't have wanted to tell Snape that either. *giggles*

Love the effect of the spell -- very cool -- as well as the close-up of Harry's eyes. My thinking is just that Harry's magic/energy was drained as a result of firing off the AK, versus a deflection. Or at least that's what it looks like to me. *gives you the look just for good measure*

*grins*

This piece is epic and beautiful, and although I have not seen the final piece(s), I'm already so thrilled that you went for it. You should be so very proud of yourself for this accomplishment.

You were absolutely correct...Harry was just drained from firing off the AK (not a deflection).

I am proud of the whole thing. I'm not sure how well it was received overall; comments went WAY down with each part so I think I turned viewers away for any number of reasons. But it was my story to tell and I wouldn't change any of it.

Thanks, hon! I'm glad you are enjoying it!

I don't believe for a minute the subject matter of your art turned people away. I think it's just the nature of a big fest. People are gung-ho for the first part, begin to trail off for the middle part, and become absentee for the final part. Or after awhile, they simply observe instead of comment. I know I'm guilty of that. After reading/seeing enough great things, I run out of unique commentary, and so fall back into lurkdom. And with your art, I kept waiting for the story to go off the rails, and it never did! I was under the impression you were going to leave it hanging in the end -- a hopeful nod, perhaps, but an indistinct conclusion. Regardless, I still loved it, and applaud you for doing it in the first place, and for staying true to your vision. To me, that's what it's all about. *hugs*

Seeing the second part brightened my day :)

"Mystery artists" you have an exceptional skill with creating scenes as well as the detail in facial expressions. My heart breaks for Harry, I hope he gets rescued quickly.

As for Severus, his words of affection and worry contain their usual *loving insults*

Oh my, seeing Severus so vulnerable, so desperately worried just breaks my heart. I'm so glad Harry saw that DE, even if he expended so much energy to take care of him. I have no doubt he'll be fine. Please? *wibbles* Wonderful work.

It was fun to have Severus show his vunerability JUST a little bit there at the end. *evil grin* Harry was never going to let anything happen to Severus.

Thanks, hon!

I was SOOO excited when I saw this was posted, I had to check out the post on my phone while I was at work. Big mistake. I was sitting there just traumatized going "No. No, it's just because it's a tiny screen. Harry's okay, he's fine! My stupid phone just isn't loading!" *denial*

But now seeing it on my computer...just as gut-wrenching, true, but just beautiful. The despair on Severus's face broke my heart. I particularly love the second to last frame with their wedding rings showing...seriously, a beautiful moment. Also, Severus's hand in Harry's hair in the last frame...ugh. *wibbles*

Well done, mystery artist. You completely ripped out my heart but somehow I'm okay with it. Can't wait for the third part. Bravo.

Thanks so much! I actually have a reason for those rings (and they wear them in my universe of these two). They have a tracking charm on them, so they can find each other (hence why Severus could find Harry).

I'm thrilled you are enjoying my story and coming along for the ride. :D

Oh my gosh! I can't believe I didn't get a chance to comment on the second part of this EPIC masterpiece until now. *responsibilities are sucking the fun (read: free time) out of life right now*

You know, this reads like a professional graphic novel. Again I'm mesmerized by the dark look of the panels, the fog, & the nail-biting angst. The Hannibal Lecter wanna be in the second panel is delightfully scary, & I love the fierce determination in Harry's eyes. You are a master of expressions! The acid-green jolt & haloing of the AK is so good. How do you do it? I'm as thrilled with the details as I am the story itself! I love the last panel with Severus willing Harry to live. I think Severus would 'cross over' & bring Harry back if he dared to die on him!

I heart you so hard! I am a huge fan of graphic novels; I often pick them up when I don't even know the characters, just to gaze at their art. I studied several different ones when deciding the art style and flow on how I wanted to put this together. I really wanted to get the general feel of a Snarry graphic novel. So when you said it felt that I way I really just wanted to do a jig - "She gets it...she really gets it!"

Seriously, when your comment posted I smiled for a half hour. So thanks so much, hon. *huge hugs*
