R U L E S:

#1 You are allowed to post nearly everything that can be considered slashy, this includes:

+ picspams, photos, icons of men/women
+ videos, fanvids, clips
+ reviews of books, movies, tv-series, songs, animes, mangas, comics (that are or can be considered slashy)
+ historical facts (i.e. about Alexander The Great, Greek Love)
+ legends, fairy tales, myths
+ Tell us why you think a certain pairing is slashy (i.e. Spike and Xander, or Spock and Kirk etc)
+ meta about homosexuality, slash, unresolved sexual tension
+ talks about slashy movies, tv-series, characters, mangas, animes, songs
+ gossip
+ interesting links to slashy stuff


#2 NO-GOES:

+ No fanfics!
+ No NC-17 or NOT-work-safe material and no porn where you can see the genitals, body fluids etc.

#3 Picspams, single pics over 480x250 and very long posts must go under a cut. You may post up to three teaser icons on icon posts, but the rest must also go under a cut.

#4 The asylum is organized by tags and the memory section. Please make sure to apply tags to your posts, they help others to browse through the asylum! At the moment the mods are the only ones who can create new tags. Only tags that have already been created can be added by the member. So if you need a new tag to add to your post, please let us know. You can do so by commenting on the tag post.

#5 Make sure to give your post a proper title (in the subject bar). This makes browsing through the entries of this aslyum a lot easier.

#6 If you want to pimp your asylum/journal, comment here. There you will also find further information.

#7 No bashing, harassing or whatsoever of others! Be nice, have fun, enjoy your time! This asylum is supposed to be a cosy place.

#8 If you violate any of these rules, you will be warned. If you, after the third warning, still don't follow the rules, you will be banned! In case you're interested to know, the idea for creating an asylum like that came to mind yesterday, when I was looking for slashy pictures of Colin Farrell and Jared Leto from the premiere to "Alexander". All I found was this picture. And I thought, "What if there were a place where you can find slashy pics like that? And more?" Five minutes later I created slashy_hotness and, about 10 minutes after that I hired only_gremo as a mod.

Well then, I hope we all will enjoy our time at Slashy_Hotness. &hearts

Hello there,

some time ago I posted a review and a picspam about the film "Alexander" in my personal journal. Because this community was born just yesterday and should not stay empty for long, I thought it would be great to post the whole stuff once again (slightly altered of course).

The film itself is something for the eye. No, I don't mean the landscape. I just say: Jared Leto and Colin Farrell!

On the other hand if I look at it objectively, the film is horrible. The monologues and dialogues are not just to give the viewer some information about Alexander the Great and his life, but to make me shake my head in disappointment. Old times in all honour, but this is just wordily. You can say little with much words. And Anthony Hopkins does so very often.

In the "Welcome Post" of Slashy_Hotness I told you how I got the idea for this asylum.

It actually started with a search for slashy pics of Jared Leto and Colin Farrell from the premiere to "Alexander".

I needed these pics for a post I wanted to make about my new fandom: Alexander The Great.

Since it all started with this post, I thought it would be great to have at least some extracts of it here (I will spare you my ramblings about how I got into this fandom in the first place, if you are interested, click the link above).

The other day I was looking for a few Jared Leto pics I could make icons from and I stumbled across something very, VERY interesting. Look:

Is actor and musician Jared Leto coming out? In an online interview last week, the 34-year-old star said: "I'll give you an exclusive...I'm gay." Asked if he was serious, Leto replied: "As a goose." It's not the first time the actor, who also heads rock band 30 Seconds To Mars, has brought up his sexuality. In an interview with Out magazine in 2004, Leto told writer Degen Pener: "I know I'm gay. I must be gay." In the Oliver Stone flick Alexander, Leto played Colin Farrell's lover - but there were no sex scenes between the two actors. "If there had been," Leto said, "it would be the best man-on-man sex you've ever seen."

First, I've only known Jared from his band 30 Seconds To Mars. Even though I like their music, I've never once looked up "Jared Leto" on the internet or somewhere else, you could say I don't know anything about him. (That will definitely change, because now I am a fan! ^.^) Therefore I don't know whether he's gay, bi or hetero or whatever.

But what he says about that "if so-sex scene". Whoa!! I'd really love to see that "best man-on-man sex you've ever seen". Now, I have those naughty mental images! Great! Thanks Jared!
