Trying again :) I had a line for this character that I lost and would love to find something similar to fill the gap.
Set in a future-esque world that's glossy, gleaming, and high tech - with a seedy, dirty undercity 'downstairs'. The character I'm searching for is a cop in the gleaming city, who has to go to the undercity for a case. Ahren here is an underciy hooker, who unknowingly has some connections to the case. They meet. They clash. Both end up targeted. They have to go on the run. Something like that!
Sexual tension, banter, sci-fi world building, all that good stuff. Eventual smut, but I like things to build up to that, so someone who's looking for the long haul and loves writing.
