He has crazy was to stay "safe"/ ● Night-time manager at a 24 hour donut place in Allston called The Donut Pub. September 13th, 2011 5:42 pm HELLO STRANGERS [ ] startles HEY GUYS, it's Rian! After two months I have finally turned in not one, but TWO applications, with two more in the works. I AM ON FIRE. I already know like, all of you, so I'll save the introductions and jump right into the characters. First off is Leah Turner, who some of you might recognize from her previous incarnation at Breed. Leah is a were-eagle (a golden eagle, to be specific), and probably the worst were-thing in Boston. Her parents were killed in a plane crash when she was very small, so she was raised by her extremely fretful aunt and uncle, and consequently has become a professional nervous wreck herself. She's afraid of practically everything, apologizes constantly, and can't seem to stay out of trouble/miserable situations for very long--which is probably why she's so good at apologizing. Mostly, though, she's very nice, just very, very awkward and nervous. She's also a really good cook, and tends to deliver various hearty home-cooked meals to people she's close to on a regular basis. The only other things you really need to know about her is that she's a) Lani's (lanic) cousin, and b) tremendously in the closet about her therianthropy. She's paranoid her aunt and uncle will straight up keel over and die if they find out. Second is Elodie Renaud at breedscontempt, who is a vampire and an Anarch. Elodie is French and was in France during WWII, where she was largely forced into an illicit relationship with a German-Dutch Luftwaffe officer in order to keep herself and her family safe and fed. Obviously that backfired, and after liberation she was attacked and got her face scarred up by some rowdy French freedom-fighters. A few years later her Luftwaffe officer returned and forcibly turned her, then dragged her to America with him, where she's been living since (sans Luftwaffe officer). She's a hospital medical technologist at Mass. General, tremendously sarcastic and dry, and just generally doesn't give a fuck about other people unless they're reasonably intelligent and entertaining. She's also sort of claimed the Bay Village territory as the only vampire on the block, and though I don't think she makes much of a fuss of being ~in charge~ of the territory, she doesn't like people dicking around in her general area, so you can expect her to be all up in your business if you cause trouble there. Also Jackson (bleedingout) is her familiar! He lives with her, and they barely manage not to kill each other on a regular basis. It's a very loving home. September 13th, 2011 2:00 am HEYO. [ ] underhanded Hi, all! This is Rae with my 5th character. And I'm falling asleep, so I'm going to try and keep this intro as brief as possible. This is Joyce Daniels! She's a Carnalia vampire! During the late 40s/early 50s, she was an aspiring actress/singer in Hollywood. But she was turned, so she focused all her attention on seducing rich menfolk (and the occasional lady) and getting their cash money. Once she racked up a good amount of dough, she settled in Vegas as a chrous girl and a member of an incredibly incompetent Seethe. She peaced before the Carnalia razed the group. After that, she bounced around major cities as a lounge singer before coming to Boston. Hooray! Joyce comes off as a very sweet and well-mannered woman, but she's actually pretty manipulative and ambitious. She is pretty fond of the Seethe/the people in it, though. So organized and efficient! Other noteworthy traits: she is really, really materialistic. She likes the finer things in life, like designer clothes and expensive alcohol. Oh, and she currently works as a lounge singer at the Warwick. ;D WORST INTRO EVER, I KNOW. Buuuut I would love plot? 9

September 11th, 2011 7:02 pm OOC: PLOT WRAP! [ ] warsongs The plot is now officially over! Characters can go back to their lives! Obviously, life in Boston won't be back to normal for a while, though; lots of people were killed in the quake and the subsequent chaos, stores were looted and there is a lot of mess to clean up. There are bodies all over Boston, littering the streets, and that operation is going to take several days at the least. It isn’t pleasant at all, and the smell will be a problem for everyone, not just supernaturals. Have fun with that, guys! Any characters who were bitten and infected will return to normal now. Emergency services are going to be stretched very thin for the duration of the clean up, so any calls put through to police, fire or ambulance crews are going to be prioritised. They aren’t going to come running for the small stuff, and that’s if you can even get through to an operator. The military has now moved in to help, but they are acting only as backup. The earthquake and the aftershocks did a lot of damage. There are collapsed buildings, overturned cars, the roads and sidewalks are cracked and ruined. Basically, the city is a mess right now. Power and water are not back to normal everywhere. It will take the best part of a couple of weeks until services and amenities are back to 100% though in the mean time they will be at least relatively functional. ( Rundown by neighbourhood ) Also! Please tag here and let us know if you want your vampire character(s) listed as an Anarch or an Unaffiliated! The Cast page is being reshuffled slightly, and this will make it a little easier for everyone to see who fits where. Finally! September 8th, 2011 7:54 pm OOC: ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! [ ] warsongs Please tag here with updates as to where your characters are at the moment! The plot is ending this weekend so any threads, logs or placeholders you want to do will need to go in before Sunday! As far as placeholders are concerned, just pop a quick summary in there of what/when/where/who you're intending to put in there and come back to it as soon as you can. We'll go through and delete them in a couple of weeks assuming you won't fill them in! To answer some of the questions we've been getting: The government has not sent anyone into the main body of the city, so there is no military presence, but outside of the city they have formed a perimeter and so Boston has been quarantined! This also explains why no one can get in to help, and why no one has been able to get out. There has not been any real news coverage: the only word getting through is basically "remain calm and stay in your homes". It has been stated that the CDC are working on a solution, but no official statement has been made. Food and water are becoming a problem. Yes, stores have been looted, naturally (as mentioned in Selia's narrative), and people trapped at work might have found themselves without food after a few days. The Carnalia are supporting the humans but not getting involved in any of the efforts. As far as anyone knows, they are backing the humans 100%. In regards to the vampires' food supply, some of the vampires in the city aren't going to need to feed yet: please refer to the vampire page for more details! There are sources around for those who do need to feed: blood banks, personal supplies, and of course not every human in Boston has been turned into the zombie, so they aren't going to starve to death. As a general rule, people have been riding out the storm up until this point. It's up to each individual player as to whether or not their characters have tried to leave the city and how exactly they have been faring! 19

September 1st, 2011 10:10 pm OOC: ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! [ ] warsongs That's right guys, Boston is now overrun with zombies! These are in the fashion of Rage Zombies, they are fast and strong and even vampires are in trouble because they like to move in packs and if a lone vampire gets swarmed they are likely to be torn to pieces. Zombies are mindless, chaotic creatures who seem to want nothing more than to infect other people and destroy anything they can get their hands on. So here's a quick run down on Zombie Rules for the duration of the plot: ( Zombiepocalypse! ) Finally time has been paused until further notice so keep your eyes peeled for it coming back on!

I'll be posting and commenting around, but if anyone could recap recent events for me I would so so appreciate it. August 16th, 2011 2:49 pm so apparently i'm the second person to hit the character maximum [ ] legalities Hello Warsongs! Julie here with her sixth character (& only human), Saul Moretti. You might have seen him commenting a bit when I did my catchup, before I had the embarrassing realisation that I... never actually introduced him. WHOOPS. Anyway, Mr. Moretti here is a successful defense attorney and partner at Eisner, Maddox & Moretti, a filthy rich (Boston) legal firm that specialises in defending supernaturals & championing their rights. They jumped on the market in 2004 and have developed a very satisfied clientbase ever since. Saul himself is slick and persuasive and silver-tongued, completely at home around vamps/therianthropes (he doesn't discriminate as long as you meet his fee), and has had to develop some extremely slippery ethics as a result of the clients he takes. His firm's sleaziness is balanced out by the requisite pro bono work they do, but profit is very definitely still their bottom-line. He's affable and pleasant in person, however (he's honed political correctness to a T), and at the end of the day Saul is fine having drinks with even his most vociferous political opposition. A job is a job is a job -- though he's a workaholic who's rarely ever off the clock. He's divorced (see: workaholic) and has a college-aged daughter (rationally) running around. I imagine he's crossed paths with movers-and-shakers, big businessmen, anyone tied to politics or policework (he's a common sight in interrogation rooms and, of course, courtrooms). He likely wouldn't see much of the poorer set in-person but would gladly chat to anyone/everyone over the journals, offering scraps of legal advice etc. (Scraps, mind. Not free consultations. :|) PLOT: Other law folk (SUP HEZY). Rich supers he's defended in the past? Loyal repeat clients who keep him on retainer to sort out all their legal messes? Cops he's had to negotiate with? Some charity case he took on and helped save from criminal charges? There might be a potential nebulous connection to the Hollow through EM&M's pro bono department, too, though he delegated most of that to a better bleeding heart than he. If anyone wants to write one of the harried minions paralegals at the firm, Saul and his troop would be grateful. He also has a younger brother who was turned and went Anarch and is a huge liability if word ever gets out about this, so if anyone wants to pick him up at some point, that would be awesome. Aaaand that's about it! When I get home from work today, I plan to bombard the flist. 8) Gird your loins, etc. 20

August 13th, 2011 1:13 am BELATED, BELATED, SO BELATED. [ ] adjusts Hey guys, I'm Vickie! Technically, I have been around since the game started, but I wanted to hold off on introing until I finished all my apps. That...never happened, because apps are the bane of my existence, but fdajklsjgkj I've put this off for long enough, so HOPEFULLY you will see me here again soon. For now though, I have three characters. :> NATHANIEL YOUNG / icarian. Carnalia-affiliated vampire, 20 years old, bellhop at the Warwick Hotel. Nate was Chip's (racketeer) familiar up until two months ago, which is when he was turned! He's definitely still adjusting to being a vampire, and he has some issues with it, but he acts as if being a vamp is the BEST THING EVER 8D. Nate's very charming, super energetic, and just really likes having a good time. He doesn't like thinking about or dealing with Problems, has absolutely no head for supernatural politics, and acts like an irresponsible teenager most of the time (PARTYING PARTYING YEAH), but despite his inability to get his shit together, Nate is a very friendly dude who pretty much loves everybody, no matter they're species. His mindset is generally of the WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG :[ variety. Technically, he is homeless since his human friends kicked him out of their apartment after he was turned, and bounces around between staying in empty rooms at the Warwick and crashing at his friends' places. VIVIAN VALENTINE / adjusts. Loner vampire, 134 years old, thief. Vivian got her start as a pickpocket in the streets of London and soon graduated to amateur thief status. Aside from the brief blip in her life where she was kidnapped and then subsequently turned by Belville (rakehell), her thieving business has gone on uninterrupted! Post-vamping, Vivian began to make a name for herself among certain circles as someone who specialized in procuring supernatural black market items -- although she'll steal anything, provided you can meet her somewhat exorbitant fee -- and I imagine by this point she has quite a few ~shady contacts~ and repeat clients, so definitely hit me up if you think your character would know her. Outwardly, Vivian is friendly, witty, and generally as low drama as you can be when you steal things for a living, but she's also very selfish and definitely not above stabbing people in the back for her own gain. As far as politics goes, she's firmly neutral and beyond uninterested, and she currently runs her business out of her house in Hyde Park. REGINA MORETTI / rationally. Human, 21 years old, student/barista at Starbucks. Gina is the daughter of Saul Moretti (legalities) and an econ major at Boston University. She's super pragmatic and can be kind of blunt, at times, but she's mostly chill and pretty easygoing. Gina's sort of wary of supernaturals in general (especially the crazy old ones, jeez), because holy shit power imbalance in comparison to humans, but has a tendency to want to befriend/take care of newly turned, loner vamps/weres because she's super soft-hearted. 8( She lives in Allston, sharing an apartment with her bff Audrey Kyle (hangeron). August 6th, 2011 11:30 pm [ ] christan Hi everyone, I'm doing this before I head to bed, but I am Hannah, I'm 23 and it's nice to meet all of you. But this is Christan Carter, older brother to lanic and resident cranky vampire. He's newly turned and everyone in his real life thinks he's dead so he is very hush hush about. In fact, he will go postal if someone tries to ruin that belief and so as a response he tends to just sort of blend into the background and does his best not to make waves. If you are a friend of his, then he's nice, can be pretty charming and over all enjoys company, he's a company person. he likes being around people and his friends and generally speaking he does his best to not piss people off thankfully. Um, there's more about him in his profile here, but for now he's pretty much a blank slate as far as friends, enemies, bosses, etc all go. 7
