Remember how the costume was blacked out before, and Batgirl was just a silhouette kicking people?



It's...got stripes? It's an interesting touch, and not at all what I would've expected. I'm kind of disappointed it's not purple all over (which would've made it similar to both the Batgirl costume from the 60s Batman show, as well as the Batgirl costume from The Batman cartoon). Ah well.

She's got the utility belt on her leg, though.

Huh. I actually think that looks pretty cool, but I can't tell how much of that is because it actually looks cool and how much is just because Noto is shiny.

Er, that looks as if Steph didn't fit into Cass's costume and had to open all the seams to sew in extra fabric. And because she couldn't find any black kevlar, she used some Spoiler-suit leftovers. (I'm not sure about the stripes, though... Maybe additional reinforcement to hold the halves of the original Batgirl suit together?)

I don't mind the purple, and I quite like the leg spikes. The leg holster, well, it's not a deal-breaker.

But it's the design of the purple stripes. It just looks... off.

I like the general idea of adding elements from the Spoiler costume by using some violet, but the stripes look a bit weird to me.
The pointy ears and hair are cool, though.

My dream of this book turning into the Batgirl Corps grows more and more distant with each new piece of information they release.

The color scheme is pretty ridiculous, as are the thigh pouches, but it's not nearly as bad as I was expecting, giving how they built it up as being "sexy."

That said... it's actually not all that sexy. I don't know what they were talking about.

I don't care I like Batgirl costumes with pouches. The stripes add an element of fun that fits Steph perfectly. Aw, she looks so angry/violent/smirky kicking bad people in the face! Good characterization just on the cover.

I'm less enthusiastic about the shape of the belt. It looks good, sure, but it's good to be sewed to the costume and not be as half-hanging off a hip as it looks, right? A loose belt would be awfully unpractical.

I really like this. I like how they've incorporated Steph's trademark purple eggplant coloring into the costume without losing the fact that the Batgirl costume is usually a darker colored one. I'd have to see more pictures, but I think I'm also liking the way the cape falls (off the shoulders). It loses me a bit with the thigh pouches, since that seems like it would be a pain to try and fight/run/whatever with that getting in the way, but Garbett's version of the costume at least makes the pouches less bulky. I'm still trying to decide how I feel about the exposed hair, but from an aesthetic point of view, I suppose it's kind of pretty.

On a whole, I think this costume works for Steph. I prefer how Garbett draws the costume to how Noto does it, which is probably for the best, considering that Garbett will be doing the actual art for the series.

I like it. The stitched costume fit Cass perfectly(even if Huntress wore it first) and I didn't like the idea of Steph using it.
