	I have, too, but this doesn't really hurt. This is feels very much like either a Fabio-style thing, or Buffy's feelings for Xander still have hurdles to go through before they're ready. Like, Xander's gotta be at the same level. Maybe it's just me that's changed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	There are some really weird-looking side-angles of noses in this comic. Xander/Dawn feels...a bit odd. Admittedly, the age difference between the characters isn't nearly as big as between the actors (Nicholas Brendon being about a decade older than Xander), but it still seems a bit awkward. Well it's a bit harder to kill either of them without ramifications. I think in terms of title sequence cast he's only permanently killed off around four of them while they were still in regulars credits. (Doyle, Tara by technicality, Penny and of the big two in Serenity, one was already written out off screen. Everyone else that died generally came back in some form.)

Dawn being the sister and Xander the only consistent male makes me think it'd be a bit excessively huge for them to deal with the ramifications if either died. Plus they've both had pretty unfortunate romantic histories so maybe they cancel each other out, aside from the Buffy tension.

	My long dead Buffy/Xander shipper ways make me gag at this. My current Xander loathing ways make me think Dawn can do so much better. (Bring back the Thricewise thing yes please?) My multifandom fangirl ways want to know when this will be over and I get my Buffy/Smallville crossover so I can ship Buffy/Oliver in some sort of canon. lol. (Reply to this)

Y'know I will always love Nicholas Brendon. I met him in real life not too long ago, and he was an all round class act.

(Do you know he was SOOO VERY close to being cast as Spiderman, but the fact that he had the same agent as Tobey MacGuire meant he had to pull out of the running when they were down to chosing betweeen the last 5 actors for the part?..Just think how much better the Spiderman movies could have been with an actor that could make Pete actually sound witty!..)

But Xander...man...so how many Buffy girls has he now been with? Cordelia, Willow, Faith, Anya, and now Dawn?!? For the Jimmy Olsen of the group he sure gets around. LOL!

But this development kinda depresses me. Becuae it makes it that bit more unlikly that he'll get together with Buffy, whom his character has seemingly always been in love with from Day 1. (Since it would mean he's been with just about every main gal in the Buffy Universe..)
Which is a shame because I always thought he'd be lot better for Buffy than either Angel or Spike was.(Which is no disrespect to their characters as I loved them both. But their characters always seemed stronger when they weren't with Buffy, and certainly they never seemed to cause anything but heartache for her..)

So I really wish this hadn't happened... (Sigh!)
