And I really didn't see any sign of a happy Babs here.
Oh, she didn't seem happy, but there was definitely more focus on her love life than was appropriate (half a page doesn't seem bad until you realize that that's twice as many panels as we got of her actually fighting any kind of crime).
I'm having a really mixed reaction to this ish. Actually in places it's reminding me a lot of Gail's first few Wondy issues, that same sense of throwing good writing after bad, as it were, due to the shitass status quo. (In other places it's simply crap.) It's definitely messing with me and my ability to be analytical about the story.
