Actually, there's a law about this. Well, a few laws, but it's basically, "If someone is unconscious, it's implied consent to render any appropriate medical attention." Who ever wrote this, while bang up great otherwise, has never taken a CPR course, where it's one of the first things they teach. In fact, if someone is refusing medical treatment and slips unconscious, it's still implied consent unless there's a Do Not Resuscitate Order from a judge.
