I dunno. Actions aren't very Cass, more Steph. Though the batarang out of nowhere in the last page suggests maybe this Batgirl has a partner? Cause the angle is just so off on the panel before it.

	Not sure about the partner. She clearly has a Batarang in her hand in the left hand frame, then not one in the right, though the angles look night-on impossible... (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Yeah just caught the batarang she had in the panel previously. Just that the angle make's it almost impossible unless you're Bullseye, Lady Bullseye, or Deadshot. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	OMG - THEY'RE OBVIOUSLY REPEATING THAT TRICK FROM THAT DCAU MOVIE WITH MORE THAN ONE PERSON AS BATGIRL. Personally? I'd love it to be Bette Kane, and give Cass some time off after all the bullshit, but they've already denied that. (Reply to this) (Thread)

As I said when I saw this.

Unless the writer has no grasp on Cass's character at all, that's definitely Steph. A very in-character Steph too. I'd recognize that narration anywhere.

She's wearing Cass's costume...so maybe they're switching off? I still hold out hope for a "Team Batgirl".

Oh, and the art is nice and non-cheesecakey. I am pleased.

I also think there might be Cass waiting in the wings, and she threw that Batarang. Maybe in the last panel ProbablySteph! is putting away the Batarang AND taking out her grappling hook, knowing Cass has her back? They're just trying to confuse us!

Oh, and should all this be posted? We wont be able to post any pages from the actual issue when it comes out if you keep it up.

I gave up on this a while ago. They aren't going to give us what we want. If it's not Cass, then I won't be buying it--and it was THE ONLY on-going DC book I ever bought. Solely for Cass. Then they spiraled her into sexist, nonsensical, out of character hell and I died a little inside. No way they're going to fix that.

Bah, super books. Us gals just need to do our own and stop letting the "big boys" screw with what we enjoy. :P

Cass wouldn't be so chatty. Cass wouldn't second-guess herself about the extra damage to the cars. Cass is more ripped than this (or should be), and wouldn't give a flying eff about comments on her weight.

But, most importantly, all the sound effects are yellow, orange, red, and blue -- except Batgirl's, which are all purple! Um, I mean, kinda eggplant-like...

So - Yay! First Robin for a while and back to Spoiler, she's just walking a mile in Batghoul boots, uh ... for kicks.

I can only say, whoever the new Batgirl is, good luck to her. Because it'll only be so many issues before she either gets tortured, crippled, raped or otherwise fridged as a footnote in a completely unrelated crossover book, goes completely psycho and/or becomes a completely ineffectual and redundant character.

Goddamn you, DC why haven't I dropped you completely yet?

Well, if this is supposed to be Steph, it gets a chance, because it sure as hell sounds like Steph. If it's supposed to be Misfit...it gets half a chance, because it doesn't sound *too* horrible, though I don't buy her fighting this way. If it's supposed to be Cass, it gets negative ten chances, because that's not Cass, no way no how.

I hope it's Steph. Fool that I am, I like having hope.

	The scan above makes me say team-up. That batarang seems to come from off-panel, and it's the narrator who makes the shot. That's not Cass in the batsuit, though. At least I hope not. (Reply to this)
