Real Men of Genius - Spider-Man
Scans_Daily presents, Real Men of Genius week.
With nods to ashtoreth for the images.

Real Men of Genius......

Today, we salute you, Spiderman.
Mr. Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman!

You've faced the Hulk. Wolverine. Dr. Doom. Firelord. Dormammu. Evil clones from a future alternate time-line.
Saving the NYC and the world is another run of the mill day for you.
But a there exists an opponent that may be too much for you: a kitten stuck on a ledge.
Someone call the Marines!

At 3.9 lbs of soft fur, 1/8" claws and all the feral rage of hell behind her,
this pussy just may be too much even for you.
*choir* Catching tail ain't easy.

You manage to bring home the wayward kitten safe and sound. In a full cartridge of web fluid.
The reward poster never mentioned anything about what kind of condition she should return in.
That cat is traumatized for LIIIIIIFE!

So head back to Aunt May's, grab a glass of milk and cookies and thank yourself for another job well done.
That famous Parker luck may not make get you the PETA posterchild, but you will always be the cat's meow with us.
Mr. Friendly Neighborhood Spider Guy!!!!

For our international friends, here is a sample, so you can sing along.

That is not the worst trouble Spidey's had with a cat. And I don't mean Felicia. There was this moggy in an alley... anyone else remember it?

Damn, I was hoping for the time he pushed the Ultimate Nullifier button. Still a funny post.

It was from Marvel Adventures: Avengers. It was hilarious. Sadly I cannot find the scans.

It was pretty amazing. I know we have it here somewhere.

I've got it, but I'm kinda leery about doing a post, since I'm not very good at wit. Anyone want the pages so they can do it themselves?

Sometimes you don't need wit. A scan is more than enough. Several people don't do anything but post scans, you know. :)

I meant one of the "Real Men of Genius" posts. I got no issue with just posting the scans. XD

Oh that, yeah. I haven't gone back and read all of 'em so I'm not sure what the... wit requirements... are. ^^;

If there's one thing I've learned from D&D, it's that housecats are DANGEROUS.

Has a proud human of two cats I cat attest that three times is getting off light when the cat doesn't want to go where you want. I'd pay for web fluid when it's time to take them to the vet. You'd think our size and opposable thumbs would mean we have the upper hand but this is cats we're talking about. They're evil bastards bent on world domination. It's more likely than Doom.

3.9 lbs? Either that's a kitten, or that cat is skin and bones.

The rest of it was awesome, tho.

Well it says "3.9 pounds of soft fur." Maybe there's another eight pounds of cat under all that fur.

The part I actually laughed the hardest at was the toddler trying to get the kittyball unstuck from her (his?) hands.

I love the cat transformed into a kitty-ball by all the webbing. 'Kitty's sticky'. Heh.
