No, seriously: - One of the most powerful writers at Marvel (also, uh, one of JQ's best friends apparently) - Clearly has an interest in directing events, and would probably do fine at it if he weren't also writing five titles a month - Does very much appear to like the marriage, and has made pushback decisions against BND mandate in New Avengers - Has a sense of humor about his own writing that's actually funny: compare Wha-Hunh?! to every BND in-joke ever
Cons: - Honestly, what we really need for the health of this industry is people at the top who make a point of behaving like grown-ups, not "one of the [fan]boys," and Bendis isn't one of those - Created Jessica Jones, but also wrote the "Hood beats up on Tigra" scene - Doesn't handle criticism very well (see also behaving like a grown-up, feminism)
Even with the cons I still think he'd be better than Joe Quesada, though. Then again, I'm sure that's what people thought about Jemas. And Shooter's looked at much more fondly with a few decades of retrospect.
